The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (DVD, 2008, Widescreen)

this is a great sequal to a blockbuster movie. there is a lot of action from beginning to end. this movie is about the rise of the scorpion king that made the rock famous in his last role. there is nothing to dislike about this movie. had to get this movie because of the action and a fan of the original and the mummy series. this is a must pickup movie of the summer. if you like action and adventure this is the movie to get. as well my nephew enjoyed the movie and he is hard to please. if you love action this movie is for you.

the movie was a sorry attempt at a sequel. the acting was ok but the story line rambled too much. I sencerely hope there are no more sequels planned.

I was so excited to see this movie because of the Mummy series. It needs more to it. It leaves you hanging as it does not completely end where the Scorpion King started. You still do not know why or how he became evil and buried in a tomb guarded so it was never opened again.

The actor portraying the "evil" king should have not been an American person considering the location and "myth" of the movie. There's a few twists and turns that keep you guessing and the majority of acting was good.

I will watch this again to see what I missed, if anything. I am glad that I bought it as it is a good action flick.

i love movies. its a good way to spend quality time with my husband and the kids, it keeps the family together and happy. so keep on selling and ill be buying movies.

It was jus a wack movie not better than the first one...The King was a horrible actor.. The movie jus was pretty lame...No real action same ol fighting style n etc. They could of done much better with abit of more action n drama and suspense...two dumbs down

This dvd did have scratches on it and it also had freezes in play, but this e-bayer is a great ebayer, I have purchased a lot of dvd's from them like over 50 and have only come across 2 that have freezes in play, i will definately buy more from them

Very fast delivery and the DVD was in excellent shape. I like scifiction movies that are very funny and they have a great story to them.

I got it because it goes with my set that I have. I have all the other dvd so i got this one beside that, i thought it was a pretty good dvd

love this movie very well done and graphics are awesome but only thing i didnt like is that the rock was in part one would have liked to see him in part 2 also but all in all gave it a 10

In my opinion this is a good movie. Full of action and adventure. Its a decent prequel for the Scorpion King and the Mommy Returns. Its an alright movie.

I just love this movie. I decided to buy it because I follow the Scorpion King movies. Everything that I have purchased from Ebay has been excellent. The people you put their items up for bidding are excellent. I have purchased items from movies to furniture. No problem what so ever and I find Ebay the inexpensive way to make purchases. Movie came, and went. And was far too long for it's own good (109 minutes). Film sludges along and feels like it's half-baked and not quite finished. I can't say I can recomend it, and I certainly can't say I will ever watch my DVD again. Oh, and the fight scenes, yeah...not happening. Poorly shot, too quick, and heavy use of wires. Even Randy Couture can't save the fights because he HARDLY throws a punch in this movie, and he surely, has one tone of voice. Avoid this puppy.

Epic Fail.

This is by far the worst film of 2008.

Stay away.

It is terrible, wrapped in horrible, and served on garbage bread.

After enjoying the cheesy Mummy 1 and 2 and Scorpion King I was looking forward to this next offer. Poor very stiff acting, lackluster fights, and plodding story line made me wish I had saved my money. This movie totaly lacked the energy, overacting and interesting characters from the first three films. The forced buddie (friendship) was unbelieveable. Only the chinese guy who was shown as a whimp and then (new script?) suddenly turned into a fighting machine; he was interesting and he was a very minor role. I kept waiting for the brother, he never showed up. And using a stick man as the Scorpion King when you used the Rock later is just a leap. Bad movie, hate to see it happen to a nice product.

A LOT OF ACTION. NOT MUCH ROMANCE AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED. I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT WAS A GOING TO BE A GOOD BLEND OF ACTION AND ROMANCE. IT WAS STILL GOOD, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN. HOWEVER, I AM A ROMANTIC PERSON.

I WOULD RECOMMEND IT IF YOU LIKE A LOT OF ACTION. THE PLOT WAS GOOD AND SPECIAL EFFECTS WERE BELIEVABLE.

I rented this movie first to see how it was, after I watched it I knew I had to buy it to add to my Mummy/Scorpion King collection I had. It is a very good movie, it acually ties together the scorpion king movies as you know he did not come into the world fully grown. There are some pretty good fight scenes. Check it out if you like the Mummy/Scorpion King movies.
