Scooby-Doo - The Movie (DVD, 2002, Full Frame)

As one of our first movies away from full animation (the kids are only 4,3,3 and 1) this was a good choice. They already knew Scooby and the gang, so the live action things weren't so scary. Much more "animation friendly" than the sequel and easier for little kids, but beware that the characters do things that children will associate ~ Fred in a woman's body saying he can look at himself (mine didn't catch it but a bit older child might) etc. Please preview before watching, but then sit back, enjoy and laugh with your family.

This was one of the very first scooby doo cartoons to be put on DVD, Its fantastic , and will keep the kiddies busy and happy. having 5 Children Scoooby was always my best friend, It was my time to getthings done when scooby went on, the kids were busy and i could do the things I needed to. he has been a life long friend to me. and I admit, I have seen every one ofthem, and still own all. they are my litte piece of my kids childhood. Just the music alone make me think back of when my kids were small. I love scooby., what a well thought out series with bright bold colors and a plot in every show. makeing the kids think, nothing like todays cartoons which seem to just leave them looking like zombies.
Scooby was a cartton that you had to use your mind and my kids did , they use to sit and guess who the bad guy was, it was adorable. Scooby doo has a place in my home, and heart. a Wonderful cartoon series. Many many stars have even appeared on scooby doo. .. and scooby gets many many a++ and Stars ***** form me.

This movie is fun to watch. It has funny scenes and plays well on the characters. You have to get into it and forget what you think of it not being a cartoon. It'll win you over! It includes upbeat music that livens up the movie too. (This photo clip is not from the movie)

I have always been a Scooby Doo fan and a movie fan and a Freddie Prinze Jr. fan most of all! So it's weird that I haven't seen this movie until now! As a Freddie fan, I was really upset about his bleached blonde hair :( not very appealing on him. However, the first half of the movie is really funny, (& I'm 24 years old!) mostly due to Matthew Lillard and Scooby.
Overall, a good movie, very cute!

I wanted the Scooby-Doo movie for my 6 year old for Christmas and I wanted it in a timely manner, but I was not expecting it to arrive as fast as it did. The item was brand new and still in the wrapping, which is exactly what I wanted. I decided to buy this item because the seller had many good reviews so I felt that I would be satisified in which I was.

WELL.... you ..cant go wrong with this movie...only problem I have is full screen sucks////but my son does not the difference....over all great.flick

My almost two year old son saw the second live action scooby doo movie on tv the other day and he loved it so i decided i would buy both movies. I was only able to find the second one in town so I decided to buy the first one on ebay. thanks.

The movie works great--doesn't skip. The cover was not was not in the best shape. But over all, the movie was fine.

It came quickly, it is in excellent condition, price was right and we love it. Thank you. I bought it for the little boy I babysit. He use to borrow it over and over from the library and so I decided to buy him one and it costs twice as much in the store. This was a very worth while purchase and we are certainly getting our moneys worth.

My grandchildren totally wore out our first copy of this movie. This is a replacement. All of my grandchildren from age 18 months - 13 years have watched this movie. It is a family favorite. I feel that different ages see different things in this movie. Suitable for everyone.

I used to have this movie....lots of good memories, reminds me when I was younger....kids love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is definitely a stupid movie but if you like Scooby Doo it is easy to get past. The movie does stay very true to the cartoon and it is worth a watch.

The movie is very entertaining and though the actors are real and not animated, they blend very well with their animated counter-part. It's one the entire family can enjoy.

Great family movie-everyone enjoyed the hi-jixs of scooby and the gang. We are big scooby fans in this family and can watch this movie over and over!!

i needed this dvd for my van for my grandkids. thanks. theres not much to say about a dvd, only thaat i got it for them and can't say anymore because theres nothing more to say.

Funny thing is i purchased this for my dog. She will sit from start to finish and loves it , if i can only keep her from attacking the tv we'd be fine

KIDS LOVE SCOOBY AND I HAVE PURCHACE SEVERAL OF THEM. THEY WATCH THEM FOR HOURS. IT KEEPS THE KIDS INTERSEAD IN THE MOVIE AND HAVE SOME SETTLE DOWN TIME TO ENJOY THE MOVIE.

My daughter loves this movie & she loves Scooby-Doo. They did a great likeness of the cartoon! Very funny if you watched the cartoons growing up.

My daughter is a big scooby doo fan and this was one of the movies that she didn't have and was difficult to find. Although the movie is used, it plays well and my daughter loves it

Grand kids....3 & 5 love Scooby Doo..they become so involved...loved the look on their faces. Completely engrossed...nothing can pull them away from Scooby

I bought this movie for my 5-yr-old son, and now we watch it together. It's a great rendition of the old cartoon, the characters are a great fit, and it's not too scary (for the kids - not me ;-) ). If you ever liked SD as a kid, this movie will make you laugh.

I also recommend SD2 for SD fans of all ages for the same reasons - and I can't wait for #3.
