Movie Description
Having undergone the remarkable transition from trendy New York club act to a mainstream parental favorite, the Scissor Sisters offer a taste of their live sound in WE ARE SCISSOR SISTERS...AND SO ARE YOU. Most of their early success has been enjoyed in England, so it's appropriate that this show is taken from a UK tour in 2004. Shot in Brighton, the concert includes all their early hits (including "Laura" and their electroclash-style reworking of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb"), as well as some highly flamboyant performances from Jake Shears, Anna Matronic, and the rest of the group. A documentary about the band's rapid rise to fame is also included, alongside five music videos.
