Schoolhouse Rock!: The Election Collection (DVD, 2008, Foil O-Sleeve)

This DVD takes me back to when I was a kid myself and we watched these videos all the time....now it is great they re on DVD and I get the chance to share them with my own kids. My daugthers learned alot and had fun! I will be looking for more SchoolHouse Rock DVD's for my kids.

Anyone who grew up in the late 60's or early 70's will remember the Saturday morning cartoons and these educational yet fun shorts that aired between them. This video contains ALL the timeless segments on the American system of government INCLUDING the unforgettable "I'm just a bill...yes I'm only a bill...and I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill" that we ALL came to know and love." Great watching for those who grew up in this era as well as excellent teaching for todays younger minds.

I bought this movie because it was a great one to donate to my school so taht I can teach my studnets about the government. They have enjoyed watching it.

This is a great tool to get any student interested in learning. They learn while having fun. This movie was engaging to the students. It backed up every thing I had said. I would highly recommend it.
