Carly Wall has done extensive research into both the history of the use of scent & advice on their use from Edgar Cayce readings. The result of her studies is this fascinating, comprehensive & very practical book on using scents to aid in improving meditation & psychic abilities. Even more importantly, Wall sets her information in a context of overall spiritual growth, which says that psychic development is not to be sought as an end within itself, but as a natural result of soul growth. Recommended reading for aromatherapy enthusiasts & spiritual seekers.

The Scented Veil by Carly Wall
The Scented Veil: Using Scent to Awaken the Soul is an introduction into the benefits of aromatherapy for use in spiritual and psychic development. This book includes two parts. The first part is titled Ancient Powers Rediscovered. The chapters within this section outline the use of scent for religious and spiritual purposes throughout history showing that aromatherapy has been in standard use for millennia.
The second part of the book is titled Psychic Development. This section illustrates how scent can be used to induce psychic dreams, increase concentration during meditation, and enhance psychic healing. In each of these chapters, the author outlines the best scents for these purposes as well as how these scents should be prepared for best results. Several general techniques and methods for psychic and spiritual development are also discussed.

Those readers with little background in aromatherapy or in aromatherapy as an enhancement tool to psychic and spiritual development will find the book a useful guide and reference.
