Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action (Xbox 360, 2007)

Pros:
No confusion, plug in the USB receiver, everyone grabs a “Big Button controller”, just follow onscreen instructions.
No board pieces to move around.
No wondering who knew the answers 1st, the buzzers eliminate any arguments.
Faster game play than the DVD version.
Lots new questions featuring newer movie tittles up to 2006.
Worth the $60, buy it today.

Minor Cons: (I couldn’t find anything really negative to say about it)
Controller maybe should have a wrist strap similar to the Wii remote.
Controller “Xbox button” should have a light just like the regular 360 controller.
Keep your finger crossed that they will make expansion games like the DVD version that specialize in sports, Disney, music & other genres.
I hope there will be more trivia games or games in general that will allow use of the “Big Button controller”.
Just like with the board/DVD version it’s not a kids game, unless your 11 year old really has watched movies like “The odd couple” & Planes Trains & Automobiles”

Pros.

Great multiplayer game to play with friends and family.

Runs much smoother than the DVD version and has extra content.

Controls are very easy to maneuver.


Cons.

No online gameplay. It would be sweet to play this on xbox live.

No way to enjoy this game if you don't have people to play with you.

Scene It brought to the Xbox 360. Basic gameplay: Use your Scene It buzzers that come with the game to answer various trivia questions about old and some modern films. It's a fun concept, and it works well with 2+ people. So, don't expect to be playing much in the single player mode, which I haven't even tried out yet. There are a ton of different questions to answer about different movies. There are name the actors, name the movie, which movie is this picture from, which movie was this prop in, etc... Basic questions which are fun. You get points for answering questions right, and the faster you answer the more points you get. Then at a certain point in the game, you start to lose points if you answer questions wrong, so you better know your stuff. So it sounds like I basically summed up the whole game, right? Well I did, and it's simplicity is a good thing, so everyone can play!

Everyone older than 20. Not literally, though. It's just that you probably won't have seen many of the movies they ask about or show you, so many questions will be down to guessing. Basic summary: It's a fun game for more than 2 people but will be very difficult for anyone under 20-ish. If you have a family of four, then this is a good choice for non-gamers.

I was unable to rate this with a good rating because I was unable to play, let alone understand it because it was in French and I speak english.

I bought this game to be able to play games with my family. I like the fact that its easy for everyone to interact and play even younger kids. I dislike that the game is not open to all genre of movies, but does include alot. Good game for a good price.

I bought this game because I wanted to introduce XBOX 360 to some of our "older" friends that think video games are for kids. It surpassed my expectations with ease of use right out of the box, and the movie clips cover a broad range of films. People of all ages will find themselves getting lost in game play for hours on end. This was a great value, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to have some together time with friends and family.

I enjoyed the second Scene It! game for xbox 360 subtitled "Box Office Smash" so I decided to purchase "Lights, Camera, Action" also because the questions begin to replay after playing too many games.

We love this game because it breaks us out of the normal gaming mode. This is a great family and friend game and Great for parties!

Its a fun game... Really fun with other poeple. Unfortunatly there is no xbox live multiplayer so you are stuck with local matches only.

Very easy achievements.

The first time you sit down and play this game, it is really cool. There could be more movie clips, but besides that it keeps you interested. After you play it once there are not enough questions for them not to be repeated. This gets really annoying if you want to play it more than once. Other than that it is a pretty good game.

Real fun game for anyone who is a movie buff. Various games keeps the party going strong. The more people play, the funner the game gets.

You have to buy this game. It comes with four controllers, and the batteries and is the perfect game for get togethers.
If you know anything about movies, even if you dont, you will not regret buying this game.

Really fun game for movie trivia. Interactive, great for parties, the 4 included controllers are nice. If you care about your Xbox 360 Gamer score, it is easy to get 100's of points playing this game. It is out of production so buy it while you still can.

fun for the whole family, movies are current unlike the board game scene it. Must have game for game nights!

My teenage daughter has her friends over all the time to play it.

What' I like are the controllers and the game play. What I didn't like was no option to choose which decades of movies to include in the game. I've never seen any 50's or 60's movies so it would be nice to see an option to exclude in a custom game. The game also needs to be able to download content from the internet so newer movies can be put in the game and less repeat questions.

This is a great game for gatherings of friends and family. Very easy to play and a lot of fun. Controllers are comfortable and easy to use in this quick-fire style of play. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the small-ish database of questions. The way the 360 version saves the puzzles you've seen to avoid repeats is great. But after a dozen or so play-throughs with my wife and friends, duplicate puzzles are beginning to appear. Worth every penny though when all is said and done.

Game makers need to take a hint and make more games like this. This game brings board games into the 21st century. My friends and I love playing this at parties.
