Scavenger Hunt (VHS)

This is a movie I watched on TV many years ago. To my knowladge it has not been on TV since. It was one of the most delightful and funny movies I have ever seen. I have looked for this movie for a long time. It is not easy to find and when you do see it, quite often it is not in good shape. Of the many video retailers and vendors I have spoken to not one of them stated they could get their hands on a copy (origional) many have not even heard of this movie. I have seen it on eBay from time to time but either the cost was to high (or my budget to low) or I was doubtful about the condition. And of course I wanted an origional. The cost and stated condition of this copy is why I finally have one of my favorite all time movies. If you like to laugh this movie is a winner.

let the fun begin....the teams are the Servants (Roddy McDowell, James Coco and Cleavon and a cute little Maid Babette~ 2 groups of nice relatives including Tony Randall and his whiney kids , Richard Mulligans as the worlds dumbest CAB Driver, and Chloris Leachman and her ANNOYING son and shady lawyer Dick Benjamin. with hours the groups collect ostriches, BIG people, canoes, suits of armour, inner tubes,TOILETS~ crystal balls and all the fun stuff EACH having a "point" value and at 5:00pm THE ONE WITH THE "MOST" POINTS WINS THE $200 MILLION~

THE FUN IS watching every one steal from everyone else and an classic funny~ drive back to Estate to "count" up the "POINTS".....

this a dated movie but YOU WILL LAUGH OUT LOUD WITH THE SILLY ANTICS. the real scene stealers are Dick Benjamin and Chloris Leachman who we hate from beginning to end~ EVERY ONE IS HAMMY IN THIS ONE~ ... GREAT LITTLE THEME SONG SUNG BY SCAT MAN CRUTHERS~

LOVE IT! I purchased this VHS because I use to watch it religiously back in the '80's. I was so happy to see that the movie was available! This is a must see!

Something reminded me of this movie and I decided to see if anyone had it up for bid on e-Bay. I was lucky to find it and to win it.
This movie is so funny that it makes me smile just thinking of all the crazy characters in it. It's a real silly, slapstick type of movie. Richard Mulligan of SOAP fame is a riot. Cloris Leachman and Richard Benjamin and the villians are hysterical. There are a lot of familiar faces in the movie.
It's just an all around fun movie.

I liked the fact that I could actually find the movie I purchased. It's hard to find but loads of fun. It took a little longer than I thought to get here but me and my boys will enjoy it.

Saw the movie years ago and liked it. Wanted to watch again but the only way was to buy the VCR tape of movie. Very hard to find.
Hate the fact that you cannot buy a DVD version of this movie.
Bought the VCr version as its the only version available.

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid. It was a family favorite, and after watching it again, I remember why. I was immediately impressed with the condition of the vhs when I got it in the mail. It was in great shape for being slightly used. I received it very quick, also. Overall, I would definitely recommend buying from this company again-very impressed.
