Scary Movie 4 is A decent film, but nothing to brag about
It's my Least Favorite of the 4 films
After Scary Movie 3 I didn't expect much from this film, and I'm sorry to say that not only did the movie not meet my expectations, it fell pretty far below them.
Scary Movie 4 had some funny scenes, like the Saw Puppet on the Tricycle, the Detroit Before/After scene, or the Opera scene, but overall it just drags on and on.
I was very dissapointed with this movie in all aspects.
Final Verdict:
2/5
Rent or Buy?: Worth a Rental, but definitely nothing more. I'd actually give my copy away after buying the box set, but that's just my opinion.

Yep, too much of a good thing is definitely bad!
With so much expected of this movie after watching the first three, I was seriously disappointed. Too much focus on spoofing the latest Tom Cruise movie, War of The Worlds and The Village.
The lead actor, Craig Bierko, is about as dry and uninteresting as he was as the jazz playing boyfriend of Carrie's in Sex and The City. Definitely not funny!
I can honestly say I only laughed 3 times during the whole movie and I'm one who finds humor in most things. It's not even as though there were stupid-funny moments in Scary Movie 4, and honestly I expected more from the unrated version.
In my honest opinion, stick with Scary Movie 1, 2, and 3. Don't ruin the memory of the trilogy with the 4th!

This is the Full Screen Version and This DVD is very funny. Scary Movie 4 is a continuation of the Scary Movie Spoofs. This one has Dr. Phil in it and is quite funny - if you like this spoof stuff! There's an extra 2 hours of deleted scenes, bloopers, and director comments. A great addition to your collection.

I have always loved the scary movie series. And when David Zucker(Naked Gun, Airplane) took the directors chair i knew good things would come. After Scary Movie 3(which Zucker also directed) i instantly wanted a sequel. And here it is. This is my personal favorite of the scary movies. I urge you to at least watch this truly hilarious film.

Definately not one of the funnier in this series. Not very scary either. Leslie Nielsen's least funny performance. Did Shaq really use the giant rocks to try and make a basket instead of smashing the chain or whatever he was handcuffed to? Yes :(

A Decent Waste of MoneyThe franchise is getting old. The only good point to the movie is all the in jokes to other horror movies. And these make you want to watch those movies instead.
