Once again I couldnt put it down! This is yet another of Cornwells stories to add to the list of must read and read again! I loved it and everyone in my family loved it as well and im sure you will too.

I've read all of her novels & think this is her biggest & her best.
It has lots of details & is beliveable.

This book was not one of Cornwell's best books because it was slow reading. It covered Kay and Benson life more with a mystery mixed in.

It was slow moving in the beginning and took me awhile to get into, this book was actually a disappointment for me in the realm of Cornwell's other novels featuring this character.
The background was still as lively, but the suspense wasn't there and it was predictable. A huge disappointment for me, but nevertheless, a good read.

I would recommend this series of books to anyone interested in CSI type reading. Patricia Cornwell is a brilliant writer that grabs your interest fom line one and keeps it!

Poor plot. This author has gotten stale. Her books used to be must reads but both her Scarpetta and new series are just not worth the money. I'll wait till I can get them cheaper at a flea market or not read them any more.

I look forward to reading, I have only 3 other books by her to catch up to Scarpetta. You Cornwell readers know the importance of reading her in sequence. Looks like its going to be a great book, as always by Cornwell.

It was a hardback in perfect condition for $1.50 buy it now and it retailed for $28.95. We can take it too the local bookstore and get $7.50 credit on the purchase of more books. I call that an okay deal.

I have not yet read this book, but have read all other P. Cornwell books and loved them, so I have not doubt that I will really enjoy this one also.

Excellent story line and usage of the main characters and it's keeps your interest from begining to end.

It is up Patricia Cornwell normal standards of writing she delivers as always. A true Patricia Cornwell mystery I recommend reading this book.

Well worth the price to buy it new or used.

As always with this series of Patricia Cornwell books it is a very good read. I couldn't hardly put the book down. Filled with a lot of guessing about who was the villian for sure. I read about 15 to 20 books a month so I of course I have my favorite authors and this author is second on my list.

The book is in great condition. Shipping cost was reasonable. I can't wait to read it. So glad I was able to purchase it on ebay.

Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series used to be one of the best out there but it has become nothing more than a joke. The first 5 or 6 books in the series were fantastic reading. Great writing, tight plots, great characters. But somewhere along the line after that Cornwell forgot how to write. This book is a joke compared to her earlier writing. I hadn't read a book in this series since BLOW FLY, a book that just pissed me off. A friend gave me this so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's nice to know that I've apparently missed nothing and saved some money along the way by NOT buying this authors books!

I bought the book at a very reasonal price, even with shipping, it was less than what I would have had to pay in a retail store. I received the book in about a weeks time and I am very happy with the condtion I received it in.

I haven't read the book yet but I am excited just by the author and the title. She does a great just on her other books and I know she did on this one.
