THIS IS A WONDERFUL BOOK TO READ OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THERE ARE NOT VERY MANY BOOKS LIKE THIS STORY OUT THERE THAT YOU COULD READ OVER AT ANY TIME OR YEAR AND STILL LOVE THE STORY.

The reason I bought this book is because I have read Gone With The Wind and I have read the Reader's Digest Condensed Book of Scarlett which left me wanting to read the entire novel, right now I'm reading Gone With the Wind again so that I can follow it up with Scarlett.........I can hardly wait, as I know that it will be GREAT!!

I decided to buy this book through ebay, because it seemed the most easy way for me to get it fast and safely.It's an excellent sequel to M.Mitchell's "Gone with the wind", and I strongly recommend to anyone who considers it to read it.It's quite a large book which you can't let off your hands, if you are a great fan of the original "Gone with the Wind".I certainly loved the story.It's a fanstastic story about a love between two people who really love each other,I may say are obsessed with each other.Though you've got to read the first part at first.I loved the book itself as well, because it's hardcover and in perfect intact condition, which means that I can reread or lend it without a fear of damaging it.The only dissapointment is that you can't carry it around with you in your bag,because as I said it's huge and weight a lot, though it's not a problem, because you will read it while at home anyway. So, I say get it as soon as possible and you will not regret it!

To a true Gone With the Wind reader and lover this book is an absolute disappointment. It seems that the author has never even read Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind. Alexandra Ripley changed the entire character of Scarlett O'Hara into something completley different. The only thing that follows Margaret Mitchell's original are the names of the characters. A total disgrace to Margaret Mitchell and Gone With the Wind.

One of the best books I have read in a long time. It picks right up where Gone With the Wind ended. You cannot tell they are written by different authors, because Ripley captures the same flow as Mitchell. You also feel you are reading a continuation of the movie and the characters are so vivid you can picture them. You are even getting a wonderful history lesson at the same time that you are enjoying the story.

The book was in excellent condition when I received it. It looks brand new. I would definately purchase from this seller in the future.
