A Classic.

Most people are etiher totally enveloped by the Scarface story or they just aren't really feeling it. Tony Montana's meteoric rise to fame and even faster downfall are also a must-see for any hiphop fans, as any rap album released in the 90s has a reference or a direct line from this movie. Rap music aside, Scarface is also a great opportunity to see Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer in earlier stages of their careers--this movie actually flopped when it was released in 1983 and was nominated for a Razzie (awards for bad movies).
At its core, Scarface is the story of one man's burning ambition to be successful at any expense, but his values that helped built his empire eventually did him in to bring its downfall--as he refused to kill a man because it meant taking out his wife and child. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who 1) likes gun fights and explosions, 2) likes hiphop, or 3) likes playing the GTA video games, because this movie is really its ancestor.
