Scarf Style by Pam Allen (2004, Paperback)

I bought this book initially to knit one specific scarf. Then as I perused the other pages I see a lot of scarf gifts in my knitting future. Beautiful designs!

This was recommended..... and the real reason I purchased was for the Lady Eleanor Entrelac Wrap (which I havent tackled yet)... however there are SOOO many pretty & interesting patterns that every level of knitter will find MORE THAN ONE scarf to knit (and they're totally correct about the scarf being the comfort food of knitting)!

Have already knit the Ruffled Scarf (to critical acclaim)... and have requests for more of them... (and I learned short rows making it).

Very clear & concise patterns.... and challenges to tackle!

This is a fantastic book! The patterns are awesome with a bit of this and that for everyone. Looking for lace? Looking for something bold? You will find something for that someone special.
Can't go wrong with this book, a must for anyone that enjoys knitting and wants to find great scarf patterns.

This is a great book. It is the one book to buy if you truly love scarves and shawls. There are basic scarves and there are ones that are for the person who likes a challenge. The nice thing about this book is that it isn't about what's in, it's about classic styles you can knit over and over again.

This is a wonderful book with really unique scarf projects for a variety of knitting levels, though probably mostly intermediate and above. The photos are great, and I think inspire the reader to want to try all the scarves in the book!

Nice book, Interesting patterns, decent photos. A little something for everyone, different patterns than I have seen before, all the way from easy to lacey and involved. Definately a modern interesting spin to the designs.
