A Horror Movie Fans DREAM!!!
SAW is spectacular. The music, the atmosphere, the flashbacks, and Jigsaws voice. Everything about this movie will have your skin crawling and your blood boiling.
SAW I is by far the creepiest film in the trilogy, and for a film that was shot over 18 days with no rehearsal time for the actors, this film delivers.
SAW offers up a brilliant cast featuring the likes of Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Dina Meyer, Michael Emerson, Tobin Bell, Monica Potter, Shawnee Smith, and Writer/Director Leigh Whannell.
SAW offers constant tension from the very get go. It had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It's hard to explain how incredible this film is without just saying you MUST SEE IT.
SAW sets the bar very high for future horror films, mainly due to the fact that it was filmed on such a small budget. Because of this Director James Wan took a major gamble and decided to work for free, and take a percentage of the profits.

Wicked,wicked movie. Makes one think that there probably is twisted people out there doing horrible acts as this. Good creepy movie. Deal was smooth and I am happy.

This movie will catch your attention from the start, and make you really wonder what is going on, the story unravels and your thinking wow, who ever wrote this has a wonderful imagination and is so intellegant. There are some gorey sences, but the plot gets you hooked. I reccommend a copy of this and saw 2.

the wrong cd was in the case. the dvd was saw 2 but the case was saw 1. unfortunately i already have saw 2 and need saw 1 to complete the collection. the cd has no problems with it and on the cd itself it doesn't even say the title of the movie. i didn't even notice until i tried to watch it and it was saw 2 then i looked at my saw 2 case and the cds are the same with no wording on them.

i saw it.well we all have sick minds but this takes the cake full of razors!! lol i loved the movie for the smart carnage!!! i watched this and i liked the brains behind the blood!! plus i like danny glover man!!!! this is good for what i paid!! good deal!!! so grab the gift set if you like horror!! but i also like the sick n twisted. dark-1 out!!

SAW cuts through low expectationsThis is one of those movies that everyone has heard about but not everyone has seen. I had a certain level of quality I expected from the title, and it was only so-so, considering all the criticism of the so-called torture porn of the series. I can't speak for the sequels (yet) but this original film is an intelligent work, with many well-executed sequences and plot twists, with violence that is realisitc but not going to far and puzzles that don't feel too forced or inconceivable. The ending is great and unexpected, truly memorable and makes you think back through the whole movie in a new light.

SAW is a must for horror freaks.I bought this Saw movie to build up my Saw Collection.I still need to get Saw V. SAW is a gristle-cut B psycho thriller that would like to tap the sickest corners of your imagination. SAW is gripping exploitation, laughing off claims to seriousness while giving its audience a more pungent ride than recent mainstream offerings.

The movie itself, has great character. The roles played by the actors help elaborate Jigsaw's sadistic schemes. The whole movie was intricate and kept me on my feet because I didn't know what would happen next. I think this is by far, one of the best SAW movies, because the traps are so carefully done and the concept of the movie is just so different from others.

I'm working on purchasing the series, to watch them all together. I was impressed with the item purchased, as it was basically new in package. I buy pretty much all my dvd's on e-bay, as I can get a dvd for pretty much 5-6 dollars, in excellent shape, without having to go to the store.

A great plot with a great script. Even without the violence (which I'm also a fan of) this would have been a great movie. The only area where this film fell short was acting. Some of it's just not quite believable. Plenty of twists and turns that get more and more elaborate and deep with each consecutive movie. Definitely in my favorites.
