Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination by Linda Anne Silvestri (2006, Revised, Package)

I must have answered every question on the CD before taking my nursing exams for class and practicing for HESI. The rationale to the answers helped me a lot to pass NCLEX. I always had a tough time understanding why I got answers incorrect. I'm not a good test taker. Answering the questions and reading why I got wrong made studying fun with this book and CD. Practicing/Repetition is the key to passing: This type of behavior deals with the repetition of steps until some or all aspects of the process becomes habitual, requiring little conscious effort.

This book is amazing with the tons of questions provided as examples, not only in the book, but also in the accompanying CD. On top of that, the book is divided into subjects, and then subdivided in those. For example: Maternity has subdivisions: Prenatal Period, Postpartum, etc. Great book to study with!

This book is designed to be like the NCLEX exam with questions to help you study the material. It has over 4000 questions on the disc and pyramid points that are frequently seen on the NCLEX. I read this book before I took the NCLEX, and I passed with flying colors. This book really helped me out, but if you want to pass the NCLEX, you have to study! This is also a great book to use in Nursing school. It helped me to go into "content" on the disc and if say I was going to have a renal exam I would click on "renal" and this disc and go through the renal questions. If I got it right or wrong, it would tell me the rationale. A great way to study!

This is a great book. I'm still a nursing student but this is the book I use to study from because it hits all of the important things you need to know as a nurse. All of my test are pretty much based on "What will I see?" and "What will I do?". This books main focus is on signs, symptoms, and interventions. I purchased this book also because my med/surg book is by Saunders and the two books go hand in hand with each other therefore I'm able to cut down on alot of reading because this book gets straight to the point.

This is an excellent book for the rn student. I am in my second year of rn school and frequently use the book to help prepare for test. It breaks down the systems in an easy to read format. The questions are challenging yet practice. If you are in school or about to take the nclex i highly recommend this book.

This book covers everything in nursing school and tells you what you "need to know." The questions are similar to questions asked in nursing school and saves you a lot of time by not reading more than you have to. I haven't taken the NCLEX yet but I'm sure it will help.

I used this book and CD-ROM through out nursing school to help me on my exams as well as to study for the NCLEX-RN. I especially found the CD-ROM useful in practicing exam questions on the computer since that's the format of the NCLEX. I think feedback is a very important tool for studying and being able to know the rationale for the answers was very helpful. The book/CD-ROM is easy to use and has an incredible amount of information. I was able to pass my exam in 79 questions!

This book/reviewer is helping me a lot in my review at present.I don't have to keep on opening my textbooks to look for answers. It's giving me the pointers, tips on how to attack a test question and even guess the answer so as not to waste unnecessary time.(During the actual exam, you're only given a minute to answer per item). I loved the way it was written. The practice questions were not on my test but they definitely made me aware of how the questions would be asked. I passed my test in 120 questions!!!

I have been putting off buying this book for a whole semester. All my friends in nursing school owned it and I would try to sneak a peak at their before a test. This book breaks down every body system, and has an outline for the material. At the end of the extensive outline their are practice test. I use it mainly for med/surg classes. It is one of the most helpful study aides I have found for nursing school in general. It has everything you need.
