Saturday Night Live, the Best of Steve Martin, is a great addition to any DVD collection. Steve Martin is one of the all-time greatest comics to ever play on this cast of "Not Ready For Prime Time Players" His comedic genuius is so funny, and has an outstanding supporting cast. Just being able to see Theodora of York and Steve performing King Tut were worth having the DVD alone.

These classics dont see as funny now...but all his famous acts are here including the King Tut video. It's also really cool seeing John Belushi, Dan Akroid, and Bill Murray from their old skits too. A goiod addition to any video collection.

not the way I remember martin. The skits were ok (if those were the best, I wouldn't want to see the so-so) Oh yeah I forgot use to get high 20 yrs ago thats probally what it was unless your a really old school, saturday night live fan , I wouldn't !!!

This dvd was exactly what I was searching for. I got it for a great price, with quick delivery, in new condition. Perfect!

Even though I'd seen this before, ages ago, I still laugh histerically like I'm seeing it for the 1st time! Steve Martin is a genious! Very glad I found this for sale on e-bay!

Steve Martin has been a favorite of mine since the late 70's when he was first on SNL. I was telling my kids about some of his early material, like King Tut and the Wild and Crazy Guys and wanted them to see and enjoy it too. My son now walks around saying 'Hey, this guys good!"

I'm trying to build the whole collection of these DVD's; especially the original "Not ready for Prime Time Players" actors. This was the first and it was so funny. I really enjoyed it and the quality of the DVD was as good as brand new from a store shelf. I was pleased with my purchase and will be collecting more titles from the best of SNL soon.

This goes WAY back to Steve Martin's early days on SNL. I wasn't fond of the beginning, which featured an opening monologue by Steve in the 1990s. My favorite was "two wild and crazy guys." I hadn't seen that skit since it first aired in the 1970s, and I was afraid it would no longer be funny to my more mature tastes. But it still worked, and the DVD is worth it for this skit alone. My only problem is I would have liked to have seen more of Steve's later appearances on the show. But I can't think of one bit I'd like to see cut from this DVD. The extras are so-so.
