Louis Armstrong was, of course, one of the greatest and most important performers--trumpeter and singer--of the 20th century. Recorded live in the early 1950s, Armstrong's PASADENA LP notably features one of his best bands in his long career, including piano legend Earl Hines and the veteran performer many considered to be the Armstrong of the trombone, Jack Teagarden (who'd also sing from time to time). Over the course of 10 tracks, Armstrong's trumpet gleams and crackles, and his gravelly voice let the good times roll (forever).
