Sarah Silverman Program - Season Two, Volume One (DVD, 2008)

I was disappointed. You can see that they took there time carefully crafting the jokes of Season One, I wouldn't be surprised if it took them a couple of years. The humor was so original, and it was genuinely funny. Season Two doesn't hit those high notes. But in a world where female comedians (sadly) just aren't that funny, (I'm sorry to say it but it's one of the unsaid truths- women are great but in the age of Political Correction, no one likes to say anything that's unpleasant, even if it's true, and humor is just a facility that woman lack) she's still the best one around. In all fairness, Season One was a hard act to follow, but it's all good. I heard they were working on a shoe string budget. Maybe Comedy Central should put a little more funding into the show? (hire a couple more male writers- only kidding!)

If you are a die hard sarah silverman fan you will enjoy this season. However, Season 1 is much better. I believe the episode with the fake bomb, hotboxing a car...meaning farting in the car and then shutting all the doors fast is HILARIOUS! Again, I believe that episode was in season 1. Buy this dvd but do not expect it to be as good as season 1, season 2 does have some good themes mixed in.

i LOVE this show i think its HILARIOUS. i think everyone should watch it! she makes fun of things that nobody else would, and doesnt care! thats y i love it so much.
