    As a Sprint employee I have been able to see a lot of phones and receive a lot of customer feedback. If you don't already know it learn it: Sanyo is the best phone maker for Sprint hands down! This phone is getting up there in age (for a cell phone) but is the best phone that Sprint every made. This phone had next to no manufacturer defects, was priced cheaply, and to this day is still the highest battery life and signal strength of any sprint phone made. The only draw back is a lack of flashy features (no camera, not a flip phone, no multimedia), and is large for some. If you want a great basic phone, or are trying to help out Grandma or Grandpa this is your phone.

    I didnt want to give this phone up, but it time to upgrade, after havent it for 4 years. I never had any problems with this phone. I had the best reception, anywhere I went, I always had 3 or 4 bars, with 4 being the most. I would talk and talk for hours and I would not have to charge it for 3-4 days. It kept a good charge and is very highly recommended. I now have a similar one, the Sanyo RL-4920, which is similar, just smaller and has more features. I still miss this one though!!
