The Sanyo SCP 2700 is a simple phone. Doesn't really do a whole lot but isn't a big expense with a contract (I think it is new free as opposed to $29.99). Oddly enough, the antenna is on the bottom of the phone. At least according to the manual. I wouldn't go about using the phone extensively because of it, but it is in fact a nice consideration looking at the problems with cellular devices.

When it comes to operating the phone, the interface is easy to read and understand. It is a bit generic to a lot of other phones (same theme color, sound effects) that I looked at in the Sprint Store if memory serves, but I don't entirely remember. The keyboard is decent, a bit loose but still easy to almost get used to. The Back button also doubles as a backspace, so it can be a bit confusing at first. Sounds clear and texts reasonably well. Outside of those two features there isn't a lot the phone can do. It does have a 1.3 megapixel camera, the ability to customize contacts.

Overall if one needs not many features and makes calls this phone does alright. While it is a bar phone it is larger than many phones, so it is best to see the phone in person before choosing it.
