Purchased August 2009. 127 pages. All black and White photos.
Fantastic shots of Raton, Tehachapi and Cajon steam locomotive/early diesel consists: 2-10-2 Santa Fe, 4-8-4 Northern, 2-10-4 Texas and 2-8-2 Mikado.
I liked the brief history and operational description of the three grades.
Most of the books pages contain multiple black and white images of Santa Fe steam at it's finest.

) If you are into the hisrory of the Santa Fe or you are modeling it, this is a good reference source for those purposes. Photos are great and the text is well done. It can be quite trying when you attempt to purchase a copy as it is a scarce item. Watch ebay or half.com. I found my copy at half.com for a great price. I will point out that my copy came from books under other catagories and not model railroads or railroads. Try a "wanted" ad.
