Santa Cruise by Carol Higgins Clark, Mary Higgins Clark (2006, Hardcover)

I have every book written by Mary Higgins Clark. Like all her other books, once you start one of her books you cannot put the book down.

As always I could not put her book down. There was a great captivating ending. Very good! I cannot wait for the next one.

While I did read this book ----and found it interesting, I didn't find it to be up to the usual Mary Higgens Clark's books. Probably just me ----but---what can I say !! It was better than average----so shouldn't complain.
I will still want to read her books -----she is one of the best !

I have been reading Mary Higgins Clark for a long long time. I enjoy everything she writes and anticipate the next book.

This was a fast paced book, with several twists to it. It was an easy read and very enjoyable. Alvira and Willy, along with the Reillys provided great interactions and suspense.

I decided to buy it since I love Mary Higgins Clark books and I had read the preview at the end of one of her other books. I highly recommend reading any of this author's books.

As a repeat reader of both Mary Higgins Clark and her daughter Carol Higgins Clark, I have made one distinct observation ~ one will make your hair stand on end, and the other will make you laugh. Combine their talents and you get both. Now that doesn't mean there is not some mystery or suspense with Carol, it's just that it is lighter fare with fewer dead bodies or crazed killers. The Christmas stories usually reunite us with favorite characters from other books and this is no exception. As always, there is holiday warmth and human interest tied in with a good old mystery. The key here is the characters! Quirky, diabolical and endearing, this cast includes 10 Store Santas with secrets of their own, an eccentric cruise ship owner and his mercenary nephew, Alvira & Willie, and of course Regan and Jack Reilly, along with her parents. It is a fun read, and safe to read alone in the house on a stormy night.Not a Pulitzer Prize type book, just enjoyable and perfect holiday entertainment.

This book is a great read. Mary Higgins Clark is one of my very favorite authors and the books co-written by her daughter are just as great to read. Anyone who enjoys a bit of mystery wrapped up in a really great story will enjoy Mary Higgins Clark books... and if you want a touch of humor along with the mystery and story, you will find those in books by Carol Higgins Clark.

I liked this book, it was nto her best, but it was a good Holiday read. I read it easily within a weeks time.

The book is a fun, fast, light read, but you may want to read some of the others in the series because the character development is a thread developed throughout. Comprehension of some of the subtle interchanges are dependent on previous books. Perfect for a lazy afternoon or a cozy evening.

Treat yourself to this Higgin Clark christmas mystery series. You will love them all. I bought them in paperback and loved them some much I had to find them in hardback as keepers
