Sanford and Son - The Second Season (DVD, 2003, 3-Disc Set)

Each season of Sanford and Son just gets better and better...there's nothing like this on TV anymore (not really sure they could get away with it now!) and anyone who grew up on television in the 70's needs this set in their collection. Bellylaughs in every episode, guaranteed.

In this second season of Sanford and Son, Fred and Lamont really start to get their groove on and get into the characters. Fred plays on his need for his son and Lamont needs Fred more than he admits--which sets the stage for comedy. They share the screen with more people--like Aunt Esther and Grady. The laughs are more often and steady. Norman Lear was a genius and really captured the times of Watts LA California.

The show really hits its stride int he second season. The chemistry is there between Redd Foxx and Demond Wilson, and the introduction of Julio and Aunt Esther add to the incredible Comedy.
They don't make show like this anymore.

I grew up watching this show. It is a wonderful,clean and funny show to watch.
Now my two kids(13 & 14) watch it and they love it. They go around talking like Fred and Aunt Ester. I am glad they will get to grow up watching some good clean comedy.

I purchased it as a gift for my son-in-law. He loves the show. I like it too. Redd Foxx is very funny. My son-in-law is the same age as me, so we remember the show when it was new!

I grew up watching this show and always had a fondness for it. This DVD offers arguably the best season of the show. This is Red Foxx at his best.

The image and sound quality of the show is very good considering that they were taped over 30 years ago.

In conclusion, this is a good addition to a DVD library for anybody that enjoys sitting down and splitting some sides with laughter.

It was a used product but still in very good condition had no scratches on it and played very well. Wasn't anything I disliked about this item. Was a really great item especially considering it had been used. I was a little concerned about that but it was okay.

Found out that the seller was no longer an EBAY member, tried e-mailing him a couple of times to find out if he received my payment, never received a reply back, and needless to say never received the item.
