Battery life has not been an issue
but I would also get a wall charger
so you don't have to use USB all the time.

Love the Sansa Express. Perfect for running. Small, light, compact. Love the FM stereo. Light and small enough so you can put it in your pocket, or fit it in your bra strap when exercising, and no need for action jacket / jogging arm strap. I love the fact that it does not require a cable for charging or data transfer - just plug into USB port like a jump/thumb drive. For a few bucks, you can buy a USB car charger for charging on the go - still no cable needed! GREAT sound quality! Acts as a voice recorder also! Best of all, it takes micro-SD cards, so you can expand it up to as many GB as you can afford! Cheapest memory so far I found at meritline.com, with free shipping of just about all products. 8GB micro-SD - $27.00, or 1GB for $5.00! Instantly turn this 1GB product into much higher capacity player for extremely cheap.

Its small, compact, fits a micro card for extra music storage and best of all, its USB. The only bad thing is the sound. The buds that come with it are very tinny and have not much bass to them. Best thing to do is replace the phones. Other than that, for the price and what the little player has, feature wise, you cant go too far wrong

This is my third Sansa express MP3 player and I love it. It is easy to work and use. i bought one for each of my family so they could enjoy thier own audiobooks or music.

I love this MP3 player. It works better than any other I have used for it's price. If you can't afford an iPod buy the SanDisk Sansa Express MP3 player. It has a lot of features, good sound quality, and it is easy to use. You won't be sorry.

Beautiful design, compact package, easy to use. Just not crazy about the earbuds, I'm not used to them, maybe headphones are better for me.

I bought the Sansa MP3 player three weeks ago and was impressed with the features available on this inexpensive MP3 player. It has 1 gb of space. The NewMp3 Player size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan . My only complaint is that the menu system on the mp3 the letter it is very small. Overall, I'd recommend the mp3 if you're on a budget.

This is a great little MP3 player. Does not have a lot of fancy features and clutter like some others. I holds plenty of songs, simple display and controls, plays FM radio stations, small and compact, and a good price. I don't need or have the desire to watch TV, surf the web, communicate with every other person on the planet, order a pizza, read my email... This does just what I need nothing more.

I got one of those 12V to USB things that plugs into the 12V socket in the car to charge it if you don't keep your computer running 24-7 to charge it in the USB port.

The best part is it re-charges by USB port, rather than rely on batteries. It also has an FM radio which gets better reception than you might think.

Great little player. The SD card solt is the winning feature ( up to 8Gb ). Nice screen and good sound. Highly recommend for the low prices this can be got for.

it would of been nice if it did what i was told when asking questions and doesnt and a big rip off.. and i know what i read and what was told would allow downloade music from like napser and others and of course it did but they dont stay on there. and jus think in the future i wont purchase from this seller again due to the facts not being true

This is a really nice MP3 player/FM radio. The small size compared to other players is nice. The bright LED display is entirely adequate. The battery life is amazing. Sound quality is acceptable. The user interface is a bit clumsy but entirely usable. I agree with the two negative comments I've seen: 1) if you pause during playback and the unit automatically powers down, it does not resume on the same song when you power it back up and 2) construction feels a bit flimsy like the buttons will eventually wear out.

Well... this is MP3 that I was looking for. Very small, sound is good, don't take forever refreshing data (I have 4gigs) good radio reception. Battery life acceptable 8-12 hours overall good MP3

This is the 4th one I've bought from this seller. 1 GB is just the right amount of memory to tailor each player with a specific kind of content.(I have audio books on one, kid's music on another,etc) The micro SD portkeeps my options open. Great product, great price. Super fast delivery.

This mp3 player is pretty good and I got a good deal here. It has several functions and its small, everything you need for a really low cost. Cant complain!

Very nice item. Works well once you dig into it and understand how to get around and set it up. Amazing what can be put into such a small package.

still getting familiar with product but had trouble initially because it was set to "slovenian" language. I called tech support at Sansa and they were helpful. Now I am enjoying the product.

I decided to go with the Sansa brand because I already owned one and I also read positive product reviews on several sites. I bought it as a gift for my teenage son and he seems to be pleased with it. If I can figure out how to transfer songs onto it, anybody can. The only thing I have yet to conquer is the FM radio feature, but if it works as well as everything else on the Sansa Express it will be a definate bonus.
I also bought it from this seller because we are on a limited budget and I wanted to give my son the best quality that I could afford. I'm listening to it right now and the sound quality is exceptional. I would recommend the Sansa Express to ALL my friends and family.

i like this item very much and i don't want to call it MP3 player because it can play anything LOL
the great thing about it is that it has expandable memory so i didn't had to buy the wxpensive 2gb one i just bought the 1gb one and also bought the microSD 2gb and put it in it so now i have 3gb of memory for less price (Smart huh !!!)

and it also cable-less so you don't need to have any cable to charge or transfer any music because it has the USB in it and what great about that is if you were at a friend house and liked a song he has you can just put it in

and also another great thing is that you can use it as a flash drive too i mean you can put anything on it just like any flash drive you use to transfer pictures, documents.....etc to another one.

it has also FM radio and guss what.... you can record from it so any time you were listening to the radio and you hear your favorit song you can record it and listen to it later COOOOOOL free music

Finallu the reason i bought this one is......
i have a car that it only has cassete player so i bought a cassete adapter ( it's normalk cassete the you put in the stereo and it has a wire) and bought this SANSA player and i just plug in the wire from the adapter in the SANSA and i listen to the songs through the car's speakers COOOOOL

so yeah guys

one more thing if you bought the player and found the sound quality not good it means you need to update the SANSA firmware and it's very easy process that can be done manually without any programs.....
