The Sansa Clip is a great little Mp3 player. It is the size of an ipod shuffle with even more features and half the price.
The sound quality is very good. There is an equalizer to change the sound. The earphones that come with the click are not top of the line so you may want to purchase better ones, which is the case with most players.
Hooking up to your computer is a snap. The Sansa clip is recognized immediately, than just simply drag and drop the files you want to listen to or sync with windows media player.
The lighted dial of the Sansa clip is quite bright even in sunlight My older eyes have had no problem. The navigation on the keypad is simple.
The Sansa clip is great for music. I have been impressed with the sound quality from such a small player.
Now if you listen to audio books in mp3 format like I do than this little player is PERFECT. The clip will resume exactly where you had left off the next time you turn it on PLUS you can fast forward or reverse hours of a single mp3 in SECONDS! I have found that to be the most impressive part as my old mp3 took forever to ff or rew.
The battery life is close to the 15 hours that is claimed. If you recharge it in the usb port it does take awhile and you can not listen while in the port, but if you own a razor or similar cell phone, both the phones car and wall charger work with the Sansa clip and you can still listen to the player otherwise a wall charger would be a wise investment.
The price is very reasonable for so many features, that you might want to consider keeping a second one around so you will always have 1 charged.
I highly recommend this player if you want a quality player that is affordable. Sandisk did not cut out quality, just on price. It is worth every penny. This will give the competitor a run for it's money!!

I bought the Sansa Clip for my son for Christmas. I knew my husband wanted an MP3 player also, so I bought him one too. Of course we couldn't wait until Christmas, so my husband and I thought we would try one out.
It is absolutely amazing. First, it was much smaller than I thought it would be, barely bigger than the Ipod Shuffle. It has a detailed, vibrant display. My mother did strain a bit to see it though. She is older and it is pretty small. My husband and I had no trouble reading it.
I love the ability to create your playlists on the computer and sync them to the player. Right out of the box, I was able to put over 200 hundred songs on it in a matter of minutes. Downloading to it was very fast. The way it is organized is amazing. You can browse your songs by genre, artist, album, playlists or just play everything on there. Also has an FM radio. Worked just fine also. Has 40 preset options.
You can shuffle or repeat the entire player or individual playlists. It has an equalizer with several presets, and an option to set a custom EQ. Another cool feature, you can play a neat EQ graphic once the song is playing. (kind of like a screensaver) The sound quality from such a small player was amazing also. My husband and I both were dumbfounded that this tiny little thing could sound so great and do so much! The clip works great too.
It was very easy to use. This is the first MP3 player I have ever owned or used. I was amazed at how easy it was to get started using it. You do have to charge it before the first use.
I could go on and on all day, but here is my summary:
PROS:
PRICE!! I got mine for under $40 for a 2GB.
SIZE. Very small, you won't even know you are wearing it.
FUNCTIONS. Great display, super organized, EQ settings, easy buttons and more!
CLIP and GO! Clip grips well.
BATTERY. Long lasting. I haven't had it die on me yet, even after hours and hours! Rechargeable.
FM RADIO. Forgot to mention that!
CONS:
BATTERY. NOT removeable. Can't listen while charging on the PC.
HEADPHONE JACK. Would have been nicer if it was on the top, instead of the side. Not a big deal though, unless you are really picky.
SIZE. We have already misplaced it and it is not easy to find! Smaller than a credit card. (thicker though, of course)
I would recommend this player to ANYONE. Inexpensive, sleek, multi-functions. 2GB holds up to 500 songs, depending on size. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cute little player. I bought one, brought it home and played it. The next day I went back and bought five more! All my family is getting one from me for Christmas this year. :o)

The Sansa Clip is heads above better than the Apple Shuffle.
Both around the same size. Yet both are so different!
Sansa Clip = Excellent display (name of album, artist, song), FM radio, voice recorder. Plus an awesome clip feature. I can clip it anywhere. I even clip the Clip to my shirt. Maybe even use it to clip a bag of chips? The possibilites are endless!
Apple Shuffle = NONE of these features, except the songs will shuffle. Whoopie!

The feature I like most about this MP3 player is the clip, that easy clips on your shirt to prevent lose or damage to the MP3 by dropping it. Other MP3s you have to place in a shirt pocket or pants pocket. The menus are easy to navigate and sound is excellent. Also this is one of the few that I have found while searching for a MP3 that is compatible with Windows Vista.

I recently purchased my first MP3 player, and became quite frustrated with the impossible to read graphics and difficult instructions. I returned it to the store and began looking for another one. After reading the reviews of this SanDisk Sansa Clip on retail sites, I searched for it on ebay at a lower cost. I am extremely pleased with its ease of use. With 5 minutes of getting it out of the package, I had downloaded several CD albums and was ready to go take it to the gym with me. Sound is excellent, the size is small enough to be conveniently portable but the screen graphics and modes are extrely easy to read, function buttons make instinctive sense. The clip is great for exercising and holds on very well. The battery recharges while connected to your computer via the USB cable provided with the product. Headsets too are included. Plenty of memory for 200+ songs. The right price for a quality player.

This little guy is great!! I love the tiny size of it for the gym or a run. I was really annoyed at the armband for my Ipod, then I lost the whole thing. Bought this as a short term replacement, and now I may just stick with it for awhile. I particualarly like the FM radio. At my gym you can tune-in to certain stations to hear the TV, so I can watch without having to read the close-captioning. Definitely a keeper.

This little mp3 is awesome...big sound, easy to transfer files, easy to use and most important is that the battery life lasts forever, it seems. I decided to buy this one because of the clip since i walk my dog every day and could be hands free. the size is great as well. If you are looking for something small with big sound this is it for you. You will not be disappointed.

I love this MP3 player. It's so compact and easy to use. I especially like the radio feature. I listened to it on a 4.5 hour road trip last weekend and the battery still had over half of it's life left...that was surprising and really cool. This is an excellant product for a fraction of the cost of and I-pod.

THIS WAS PURCHASED TO REPLACE THE LARGER SANSA BECAUSE THE BATTERIES HAD TO BE REPLACED EVERY DAY. THIS PROBLEM MAY HAVE OCCURRED BECAUSE IT WAS HIT BY VERY HEAVY RAIN AS I WAS BIKING. THIS NEW SANSA CLIP IS RECHARGEABLE AND ALSO CAN RECORD WHAT I AM LISTENING TO ON FM. WOW. THAT'S GREAT FOR ME. ALSO, THE EARPHONES DON'T GET PULLED FROM MY EARS AS A RESULT OF THE WEIGHT OF THE LARGER SANDKSK. THE SMALL CLIP IS ATTACHED TO MY CLOTHING AND IT DOESN'T PULL WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE LARGER ONE. I bought this item for a gift for my sons birthday in April. It is so small. I was very surprised. About the size of a book of matches. One of the reasons I purchased this one is that it can do books on tape from the library. I have friends that have Sandisk Mp3 players and really like them. All the reviews I read were very good. I plan to purchase one for myself as well. There is an arm band that would be wonderful for an avid exerciser.

I needed a replacement to my RCA mp3 player that lasted 6-8 years. I used the RCA for running, biking, and liked something that was small, durable, and not very expensive since it would be exposed to the outdoor elements and could stand up to my sweaty workouts. An expensive Ipod, Zune, or Sony was not an option for this application. That's why I looked at the Sansa Clip. The price was right, and based on other reviews I read online, it was the perfect fit. This little player packs a pretty good punch. The sound is pretty good, I would reccomend a different pair of headphones, I really like the rechargable batteries, and it is very easy to transfer songs from your computer. There are better sounding players out there, but for the $30-$50 range, you can't go wrong with the Sansa Clip.

I read many reviews that said that, with this-or-that download, this mp3 player could be used with macintosh computers. I also read many reviews that said it was better-sounding than an ipod. So I bought it, and struggled for days to get it to play anything (from an itunes store and not) I downloaded from my mac. After lots of frustration and wasted time, I gate it to a PC user and bought an ipod. I have no idea if this machine is or is not actually any good, and therefore rated it "average".

This product was as expected and I received it very quickly. The one thing I'm disappointed with regarding the item is that it goes through batteries very quickly. I use it on my treadmill, and invariable, half way through the battery dies, and I don't want to stop the workout to replace, so the rest of my workout is without music and very boring. Otherwise, for the price, this item works as expected.
