As expected from the series, Samurai X: The Motion Picture is an animation masterpiece. However, I would recommend viewing it in Japanese with the English subtitles because the English voices are so different from Bang!Zoom!'s interpretation of the series (i.e. Sanosuke has an Australian accent). Overall, as stated, animated masterpiece that any Rurouni Kenshin fan should consider adding to his/her collection.

Rorouni Kenshin
) This movie is a great addition to anyones collection of the Samurai X series. The artistry is the same as the shows, but different from the Other ovas that were produced (i.e. Trust/Betrayal). The only problem is that the actors that voiced for the movie were different than on the show, and it was poorly done on their part. Otherwise, this movie would have been perfect.

samurai x-ova the motion pictureIts for my collection and since its my favorite anime,i used to watched it on tv but not the entire series now i have them all.im thankful theres ebay.What i love most is the story and im a fan of japanese culture and history.once again im thankful for ebay.more power

Samurai X The Motion Picture OVA 1 2001 dvd
) This review is from my daughter, who bought this movie. She is 13 years old and enjoys japanese anime. I bought this movie because I am collecting the series. I like the movie, it was what I expected it to be. What I dislike about it is that the voices are different that the other Samurai X OVA's that I own. I know that all the voices are english dubbed, but when you are expecting a character to sound a certain way and they don't, it's just a little weird. I will continue to buy Samurai X dvd's in the future.
