Samurai Warriors (PlayStation 2, 2004)

If you are a fan of the Dynasty Warriors collection or if you have ever played Shogun Total War you will absolutly love this game. It has very good graphics, good gameplay, and many different routes to take. This game has mutiple Japanese clans battling on the battlefield and when you kill their leaders the army will start fleeing. you can even go on ninja assassinations using stealth. There is also a New Officer Creation mode which allows you to create an officer by training him/her in mutiple fields and then choosing a clan to try out for.

Over all this is a great game and I would recommend it to anybody with a slight interest in ancient Japanese fighting.

Great game. It's story lines are interesting, some odd, for each of the characters. The changing missions in the battle are a plus compared to the stale same old missions in dynasty warriors. It still has the freeze/slow down glitches when there are too many npcs on the screen, but all in all, it is a great game.

love the dynasty warriors series and this well worth the buy. looking forward to the next installment or two in this and other series.

The Samurai Warriors game is an outstanding, action packed story that can be a good challenge to play. I like the characters involved because they are real heroes of the Japanese Empire in the 1500's and I was able to learn a great deal of history through the games. I would also recommend the other games that came out after this one. Samurai Warriors 2 and Empires.

I'm still learning my way around the game. It's a little different than Dynasty Warriors, but that's all part of the fun. As soon as I play it more I'll leave a longer review.
