Samurai Shodown Anthology (PlayStation 2, 2009)

This is one of the best games I've ever played! I didn't even know the existense of it, I recommend for anyone that enjoys old school fighting games. Thank you very much!

What can i really say about samurai shodown anthology is got some of the cool things like the blood spray artery which was never put in samurai shodown for the snk arcade classics and on top of it this game got 6 games but it don't have the special version of samurai shodown 5 because it's much better than samurai shodown 6. They don't sell this game in stores like gamestop and other places where i live so i decided to buy this game online not much i can do to find it.

I've been wanting to play "Samurai Showdown 4" for a long time (a number of years). I thought I would have to first buy a Neo-Geo" console then buy the game. But when I found out about "S.S. Anthology" (the whole series on one disc)for the Playstation 2 console, it worked out perfectly and with good business I might add.

This title is a must have for any Samurai Shodown fan. I got this product in mint condition and is a timely manner.

the thing i like the most about this game was that all tittles of the series was in one disk.i didnt have to get up everytime wanted to change the game all i had to do was just press a few bottoms. what i love i guess it would be the options you have to change the color of the characters cloths. what i dislike about it is that you are not able to play online agaist other people in the world that you have to play agaist the CPU or a friend if your lucky enought to have someone to play with you. but the reason why i have bought this game is that this are classic games and i have played this games when i was little and i wanted to have that again and play the best samurai shodown game ever (SSIV) but above all this is one of the best game/s ever.

Great game, an Arcade perfect port with smoother graphics. Six games on one disc. Classic Snk fans will Love it.

i love the old school 2d fighting gener and thats exactly what u get excepy for samurai shodown 6 wich is basically the same except they took out all the blood and gore wich is what makes sam sho sam sho so i was dissapointed but over all its the greatest in my opinion 2d hack and slash ever.

I Love this game it is a pretty complete collection of all the great Samurai Showdown(Spirits) game released in the US and some that have never been here before. The only problem i had with the game was that it came with the watered down part 5 with no Kill Moves the taken out or left out. Bummer but it is still a great collection and all the game are fun to go back and play. So if it's your time liveing the glory days of 2D fighters or your just interested in a fighting game with Samurai and ninjas kicking butt this is great and fun game pick up for both.

I own an original Neo Geo Home System since the mid 90s; BIG FAN of the SS series. I was a little disappointed with the final graphics and sounds, I was hoping for a cleaner version. But, don't get me wrong it's close to the real thing. For less than 20 dollars you get all 6 SS games. That could cost you over a 1000 to replace for an original Neo Geo Home system. Overall excellent gaming experience, must have for SS FANS. SNK please make a SS for the NEXT GEN gaming consoles.

Huge samurai showdown fan. I love this collection especially for price! Not for everyone, should love 2d fighters like street fighter, king of fighters and guilty gear series. Great collection and value.
