Shinichiro Watanabe's Samurai Champloo gets somewhat serious initially in this volume, yet at the same time, some of the most zany fun occurs as well. We see what happens with Jin and Sara as well as an episode with some baseball history. Very serious initially but then things lighten up quickly and the rest of the volume is just fun to watch.
PROS - Some more great fun for you to enjoy. Just an amazing volume and shows some really funny stuff after starting off rather seriously.
CONS - This volume takes us further along, but if you liked the first volume, just buy the whole set.

Amazing samurai anime series. A follow up project from the group that brought us the great Cowboy Bebop. Excellent combination of modern language and Edo-period samurai fiction. Hip-Hop fusion music and animation that is often influenced by the hip-hop style. A+

) I had the rest of the series, so buying it was only logical, but that wasn't the only reason. The is a great series! From the voice acting to the action itself, Samurai Champloo is wa welcome addtion to any anime collection. Thsi DVD continues the sweet action, great humor, and lest I forget, decent amount of blood from the previous volumes. A great buy!
