Movie Description
Shinichiro Watanabe follows his legendary anime series COWBOY BEBOP with the similarly hip and stylish SAMURAI CHAMPLOO. Blending genres and attitudes, SAMURAI CHAMPLOO takes place in feudal Japan but contains numerous creative anachronisms, including a hip-hop soundtrack. After saving them from execution, ditzy Fuu holds wild Mugen and composed Jin, two samurai warriors, in an uneasy alliance. The trio travels the countryside in search of the "samurai who smells of sunflowers." In VOLUME FOUR, it has become rapidly apparent that the travelers are magnets for trouble no matter where they go, as Mugen is roped into a foolish raid on a merchant's ship, and the group discovers a strange prize while out fishing.

More of the same stuff you love in the series

Gritty hip-hop cultured Samurai Champloo takes us on a journey with Fuu, Mugen, and Jin while they search for the Samurai that smells like sunflowers, Fuu's father. In this volume we learn about Mugen's past and there is a bit more drama that leads to the groups separation. This series by Shinichiro Watanabe combines amazing sword sequences with some humor. The series is a must see for any anime fan, and it's recommended to watch them in order or else you get lost in the storyline.

PROS - More of the same stuff you love in the series. This volume has a bit more drama that the rest as the tension levels in the group rise.

CONS - Nothing bad to say about this series, best to get the complete set.
