Samsung UN55B8000 55 in. HDTV LCD TV

This particular new LED HDTV might be much more expensive than most other conventional LCD Models. However, the picture has more clarity and contrast that looks better than seen on most plasma's. And this LED is eco-friendly with using less power than most LCD TVs and are mercury free. The 240Hz rending technology is an even better feature to prevent blurriness during quick motion images compared with the usual 120Hz that most other HDTVs have. The only draw back I saw is that the TV is very delicate since it's so slim, and that the surface can be easily scuffed. So, be very carefully handling it especially when touching the screen. Overall, this is an excellent TV to have with it's numerous features.

The picture quality on this set is impeccable. You can see every detail, which for some people can turn them off. It can actually uncover director's tricks in a movie. When people move, whether live or recorded, you actually see their full, real movements.
The overall appearance of the TV is excellent. Very decorative surround.
I bought this TV because LED is becoming the "new LCD", the picture quality is top notch (Samsungs are known for highest), and the refresh rate, 240 is the highest available. I watch a lot of sports, and this is a necessity.

Great picture, great color, product lives up to it's reputation. I would consider this TV one of the best in the market place.

i shopped and looked at this model in several big box stores and this tv outperforms any set on the market today bar none,it is the best tv for sale today

The color, sharpness, and 3D like picture is excellent on this tv. The TV can swivel on its base. HD programs look realistic. I thought my old TV (Toshiba rear projection HDTV) had a great HD picture, until I saw this TV. Widgets are available through the intenet connection. Black levels are excellent. The price could be lower.

I love this tv!! It looks sleek with its 1 in. depth and metal base. It swivels and has 3 hdmi, component and composite inputs, connections for computer.

More importantly, the picture is stunning! It's weird, but, many films look video-like. As if your're live on the set watching the filming of a movie. There is no "softening" of the picture similar to a pioneer elite plasma. I like the look. Some may not. Your source needs to spot on. I have cable, a kaleidescape media server in upscaled 720p which looks great. and blue-ray, what can I say, MAGNIFIQUE!!!. Highly recommend.

An incredible TV with what I consider the sharpest picture available today in a design that isn't much thicker than an folding cell phone. Would definitely recommend.

I love the styling and appearance. The picture is as near perfect as I have seen on any tv. I have had this tv for about two weeks, and to this point I have found nothing I don't like about it. I bought the tv after comparing picture quality and features, with all other tv's on display at my local Bestbuy store. I have not been disappointed. I would highly reccomend this tv to anyone looking for a fine quality HDTV.
