Samsung T260HD: Great for multipurpose usage!

The Samsung T260HD is a great product for those looking for a large, versatile screen, though it may not be the best choice for professional graphic artists. Rather, it is ideal for those looking for both a monitor and a television but do bot have the space for two units, such as a college student in a dorm.
Build:
The T260HD seems to be very well, and quite elegantly built. The stand is probably the weakness here as it seems undersized, allowing the unit to excessively wobble when bumped. However it is sufficient to keep the unit from falling over.
Some have mentioned that it does not support VESA mounting: this is not entirely true. It does support 100mm X 100mm VESA mounts, but it is a rather clumsy and cryptic system.
Color:
The color reproduction on the Samsung T260HD is average, tending to fall on the cool side to my eye. This is easily tweaked in the settings, but still feels a hair off at times. This is not enough to be an issue during normal use, but for professional graphic artists, this may be an issue occasionally.
Contrast on the T260HD is a weakness, and by my experience the "dynamic contrast" does not really help. Rather, it is a little annoying, especially during movies that frequently fluctuate between bright and dark scenes. This is because there is a delay in the change. Without the delay the dynamic contrast would be effective.
The screen is very bright; so bright that I had to turn all the way down to 50% for usage in a dark room. In full light, there are no issues with trying to see the screen because it is too dim. The downside is that at the brightest levels there is backlight bleed in dark scenes.
Connectivity:
This is by far the T260HD's strongest suit. Boasting two HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, Component, and Composite video inputs, there is no shortage of connection options. Audio connectivity comes through the HDMI ports or through single 1/8" port. The T260HD features audio out options for connecting either headphones or a surround sound system. Lastly, the T260HD features a built-in HD TV tuner, allowing one to directly attach an antenna.
Audio:
The speakers in the T260HD are very average for speakers built into a monitor: They are not especially loud, and lack bass. When combined with a subwoofer they sound acceptable, but it is recommended to just spend $30 on a basic speaker set: it will probably sound better. When using headphones through the screen, however, the sound was excellent with no extra distortion caused by the screen.
In summary:
The Samsung T20HD is a very good screen for those needing various connectivity options, a screen that needs to double as a monitor and a television, and fairly inexpensive.
Pros:
Many connection options including dual HDMI
A lot of screen space: nice for movies and 3D modeling
Very bright
No noticeable lag in normal usage (some really slow video may show some)
Neutral (Depends on opinion, usage):
No Picture-in-picture support
Average speakers
Average color representation
Cons:
Contrast
Minor backlight bleed in dark scenes
Undersized stand, minimal adjustment in stand.
