    I had put off buying an LCD monitor for a dozen years or so, and after hours of researching, I settled on purchasing a Samsung LCD for my own personal computer (I have 5 computers running in the house, all with big bulky CRT monitors that are electricity hogs).

    The spec's and info I gathered on the Samsung Syncmaster 730 were impressive. After my purchase, I was not disappointed! I can highly recommend this purchase. This monitor is the best thing I have ever laid my eyes on, CRISP, SHARP, GHOST FREE…JUST SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!!!

    Here are some of the pros:

    ·Image quality
    ·Brightness (even have to adjust it down a bit)
    ·Professional appearance (Black trim)
    ·Small size on desk
    ·Energy saving
    ·User friendly right out of the box

    Here are some of the cons:

    ·The manual is not much help.
    ·The base is "springy"; just don't dance around your desk...
    ·OSD (On Screen Display) controls are fairly hidden and you need practice to use them. The best way around this is to install the "Magic Tune" software (included) as it contains all of the OSD features!

    I had to buy moniter because I have to return my work's moniter and I wanted to own moniter. I remeber seeing Samsungs at best buy and they were best moniters I seen and I wanted Samsung Syncmaster for years. I decided to hit search for this brand and found them for very way cheap than best buy's price. There is nothing I dislike about this moniter. I had to set the color settings to my own settings similar to the old moniter after I got this moniter. Its been very good :D I might buy 19 inch one in future.
