I decided to purchase this monitor to replace an old, cumbersome monitor that was taking up too much desk space. This monitor saves a lot of space. The picture quality is excellent, and it was very easy to hook up. I haven't had any problems with it, and would recommend it. Samsung got the highest rating in Consumer Reports, and their review is more technical than mine. I had a 17" screen before, and this is fine for me. My boyfriend has a Samsung monitor with a 19" screen, and that is even nicer. If you have the choice, I would consider purchasing the larger screen. My purchase was for home use , The monitor itself is a space saver .Its Color and its resolution is excellent by normal settings . I used this moniter also with a brand new Nvidia 7600Gt I was blown away at the colors , resolution and the advanced settings which in the most basic form I was amazed . If I must say any neg thing about this monitor is that there are 6 buttons on the right botton of this monitor used for settings , you are unable to read which buttons and symbols from a normal desk space distance , The buttons are not highlighted to identify which is which . So Speaking for myself ,I was difficult for me to set up monitor with the given screen controlls I would recommend doing it through your device settings and or video card settings .
