Samsung SyncMaster 2253LW 22 inch Monitor

I have looked at wide screen monitors for a long time. I bought this one about three weeks ago and love it. There is a big difference between the monitors that typically have a contrast ratio of 700:1 to 1000:1. I am nearly blind. I have no vision in my right eye and little vision in my left eye. However, I am able to read my e mail much easier on a higher resolution with this monitor than on my previsous monitor which had a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Great monitor. Thank you.

I choose this for games and movies. 2ms won me over... the screen is nice. Brightness is the main topic to brag about I have it set to 25 out of 100.
Glass is not glossy. It fairs very well as far as not grabbing stray unwanted light and reflecting/ glaring during a movie or game.

IT'S A KEEPER.

Everything is great with this monitor, the monitor is great for gamming or watching dvd movies. I like everything about the size as it is just the perfect size for your desktop. The only negative is the power and menu buttons are under the right corner and a little difficult to access. I would reccomend this monitor to anyone. Great monitor!!!

Great color, contrast and movie capability. Advertised as 22 inch not 21 inch as mentioned.
Very Unhappy with the manufactures/retailers packaging.Very sloppy and little packing and prepartion for shipping. Due to this frame has a 3.5 inch crack on left side towards top of unit does not cause operation problems. Otherwise works fine at the moment. Reason for purchase was to view movies online and 30% rebate which have not recieved after three weeks. Now they say it will be total of 60 days before rebate.

Let me just say that I'm not a novice when it comes to technicolor screens. I used to sell televisions for a living and let me just say I hate LCD, but since Plasmas start at 32" and up, and I use dual-monitors. These monitors have great resolution and color. The detail is stunning, and the fast refresh times help to eliminate the distortion that LCDs usually create with any picture that is moving. I'm very happy with my LCD screens =)

Good color and contrast quality... easy to set up...I specially like the slim and sleek design... Also the "AUTO" adjustment was great... easy, not complicated......like it very much.

I'M very pleased with my new samsung monitor. The picture quality is exellent and the setting and features are very good and are easy to access and the response time and contrast ratio are outstanding.

The ratings were very good on these monitors (we bought two to place side by side) and after receiving them and after starting them we were very happy with the quality and beautiful color, scaling, and design of them.

We recommend them to everyone.

Got this monitor for a pretty good deal. Grear color and contrast. Good for gaming and everyday task. Great to watch movies on. Really no con for me.

The monitor is in excellent condition. I recommend this place for al display items. It was shipped on time.

I am not sure how long it will last, but so far, everything looks good. Price was very reasonable for the features and specifications it offers.

I have bought refurbished equipment before and this was no exception to what I expected to get. This was a great buy and it came with a manufacture’s warranty.

Samgung is a brand you can trust and they back what they make. I installed the unit and it performed perfectly using the DVI interface or digital cable to the computer.

I like to view movies and Hulu TV episodes online because there are fewer commercials. They also provide an HD picture that with this new monitor it generates a great picture. Now you add a Dolby 5.1 sound system to it and it will look and sound like you are in a theater.

I have no complaints on this monitor. It was a great buy!

Just as described and even better. Does not seem like a refurbished monitor. Works perfectly and looks beautiful.

This monitor is everything I needed in a monitor, very nice size but doesn't take up your desk space. Picture quality is awesome, very sharp graphics for gamers and like me, movies are fantastic. This is a great all around monitor. The only feature that I personally do not care for is the setup menu for changing the brightness and contrast. It does not let you choose what you want it has only predefined modes. I have been using the "game" mode and it seems to do the job nicely. I would purchases another one even with not having the ability to change the settings mentioned above due to the excellent picture quality and size.

I bought this refurbished on eBay and the quality is great. I couldn't image spending full price on one of these!

This is the best monitor I have ever purchased, and the price was way below retail. I love the design and the footprint space it has.

Very Vibrant Screen... Synced up easly with video and other monitor. I really like the black on black look really gave my desktop a business look. Vista looks great on it as well... and everyone wows it. All 22" of it ;)

This monitor is easy to see. It makes the wording larger, and displays scrolling pictures great. Love it compared to the 19 inch I did have.

I bought this screen to replace a smaller one I had been using. It appears to be all it is advertised to be. I love the size and fast response time. I'd buy another.

The Samsung SyncMaster 2253LW 21 ince monitor work great. It is a true plug and play with very intuitive controls and an excelent picture. I would deffinatly buy again.

Bought on a whim...I have two other wide-screens and , whilst they are great for regular work, I am a photographer and pictures come out stretched. This one has two settings...wide-screen, and regular square, and that makes all the difference to me. As a regular moniter this is superb....great picture quality...clear text...good gaming ability....and at that price, well worth every penny.

This was my first 21" monitor. I was little hesitant because there are many models out there. I've seen good reviews on this monitor, so I've gone ahead with the purchase. I bought the refurbished model, but it didn't have a scratch on it. No dead pixels, just nice and shiny. I like this model for it doesn't have the glossy screen. Glossy screen gives too much reflection.

The colors and motions are excellent, you won't be sorry, I'm not.

The monitor seemed to be crack on the upper right corner, but it didn't affect operation, another thing is it came in a regular box not the original one and no DVI cable, but besides that, great price and the monitor looks wonderful.
