Samsung SyncMaster™ 204T 20 inch LCD Monitor

Excellent monitor. One thing I noticed about LCD monitors in general was the lack of consistency between them. I'm an eBay seller and need more than one monitor for keeping up with auctions and keeping my shipping program going. The third monitor I just use as a TV most of the time as "I'm an eBay seller". I'm usually glued to my computer. Controls are a plus and also being able to rotate the screen 90 degrees is nice to make a long view of list such as emails and daily/weekly sales. The quality, brightness and consistency are my pros on the 204T. I have absolutely no cons. For multiple monitor situations you will be very pleased in particular.

If you like a "traditional" 4:3 aspect ratio rather than wide screen - and that certainly describes me - then the 204t is a good choice.

It has 1600 x 1200 resolution, a narrow pixel pitch and uses a S-PVA (not TN) LCD panel. Using a DVI connector, the image is very sharp indeed (it's also quite sharp with the VGA connector). As it is a 20 in. panel, it is bigger and heavier than the 19 in. models, and it consumes a bit more power.

I have two of these. The first 204t I bought a few years ago from a national discount vendor when the 204t was still being made. At that time, the going discount price was around $400 to $450. The second 204t I acquired very recently through eBay. They are offered by eBay stores in the $250 and up range, but eBay auctions by private sellers tend to close in the $125 to $200 range.
