Samsung SPH M540 Rant (Sprint Nextel)

This person is looking to rip off the people that bid fast and do not totally read the fine print. I don't know anyone who would both buying a phone that could never work because it only looks like a phone, it is not an actual phone it is only a TOY. Be careful what your buying from BANDITOOWL22 or what ever his name is, the only thin that matters is the "BANDITO" part.

Had the Samsung Instinct and absolutely hated it. It was so difficult to text on.

The Rant definitely beats it in every which way. Internet and YouTube browsing is much faster, texting is super-easy, and calls are a lot clearer.

Overall this is a great phone, and definitely one of Sprint's best phone.
Get it, you won't be disappointed.

My old phone was on it's way out so I figured it was time to buy a new phone. Since my contract still has a year and a half left with Sprint and couldn't get enough money for a while to save on a new phone from Sprint itself, I decided to look on ebay. I searched the web for popular sprint phones and looked into several. I came across this one and it sounded really good so that's why I looked into buying one if the price was right. The one thing that I don't like about this phone is the fact that it doesn't have an outbox for text messages. So for example if a text doesn't send, you'll have to retype it all out and that's a pain. Otherwise all the other features I do believe I like. It's nice with the slide out full qwerty keyboard as well. You can either text as you would on a normal cell phone or use the slide out keyboard. The camera on this phone is actually really good as well. You wouldn't expect many cell phone cameras to be this good, but this one is. Battery life from what I can tell is good also. I use it mostly to text and it lasts for quite a while for me. I've only had this phone for about 2 months so maybe it's too soon to talk, but we'll have to see and hope for the best. Overall I like this phone. I would sugguest if you're looking for a new Sprint cell phone, you go with this one as it comes in 3 different colors (black, purple, and red). It's a nice phone. Buy it today. :)

This phone is definately a good bang for the buck. The key board is nice, even for me with my large hands. Its a lot thinner than a lot of todays phones with slide out keyboards. Samsung always delivers with good product that will last.

i am not happy with product i tried to cancel before purchaasing i needed a real phone clicked on wrong item dont need a rant for parts....

i never did recieve the item..it been over a month an a half now very unsatifated..im still wwaiting on the item it was a gift on i have to tell him something else cuz i havent got it.:-(

I had use ebay and wasn't really sure about it. Once I bought the phone I emailed the seller and she answered me really quick and kept on giving me uptades on anything I would ask. The product was in great conditions just as she said and arrived very soon.

Its very easy to get used to. the fact that you can use both keyboards simultaneously is very convenient. The only thing that is a little annoying is that getting rid of your text notifications, you have hit reply for it to understand that you read it so that it will remove the symbol.

super nice easy to use and always the best way to text. and if you like stle its modern sweet and and just a treat to use.

i like everything its a great phone and i enjoy watching tv and surfing the net on it!!! i love it better than instinct

I had this phone in purple, but it was misplaced and I wanted the same exact one. Unfortunately Sprint no longer carries this phone model. I loved everything about this phone, so I was happy when I saw it on ebay. Plus, it's way better in red anyways. ;P

I think this phone was a rip-off of the older LG Rumor, but after some time using the Samsung Rant I am ready to recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, easy-to-use QWERTY phone with some surprisingly robust messaging options. This isn't a complex, corporate smartphone, it's still very much a consumer-level device, but if you'd like to be able to check your work e-mail on your little personal phone, it packs all those features at the best price. The size is a little long and heavy, but if you can get past that- the phone is great for texting/email/web use.

love this phone, works great, no problems, my daughter loves it, great texting, photos. Rant is a good phone.

I just recieved my and it is a nice clean phone. It has many features along with a lot of cool buttons. As soon as we got the phone it was easy to work with and navigate. The phone quality is very good and well bulit. The feel to the phone is very slick and sturdy. The color is red very nice and my wife really enjoy's it. I strongly recommened it. Samsung Rant nice product.

this phone is sooo what i expeted about it.i wanted a new phone because my old phone was the treo palm but ,my father got this one for me and i lovee it......... and now its not annoying like the palm treo was:]

This phone is very easy to use. I had a palm touch screen that I hated with a passion. The rant easily converts from phone to text, and then back. The internet is a bit teadious and slow; but not such as issue for my limited use.

having the availability to buy parts for a phone is awesome replacement phones are very expensive if you dont have insurance.even then you can only have so many claims. definately hope more people sell lagitamit parts like this. thanks again.

BECAUSE HAS ALL THE FEATURE I WANT IN A PHONE. It's blissful from screen to touch keys; and, it slides!!! This slider phone is enjoyable for the business or young folks out there who love technology abled cell phones. I bought a 4gb memory microSD upgrade for the phone for all my favorite MP3 songs and photos. The personal carousel feature is perfect for scrolling left to right or right to left and email and messages are accessable in one click. I recently used its GPS navigation to drive 3hrs out of town. Everything about it is flawless. Nothing better than this phone!

The only complaint that i got from the user of this phone is:

1) the phone goes into sleep mode/screen saver

2) when it is in sleep mode it takes a minute to turn back to the normal screen.

Other than that the person i bought it for loves this phone. They like the qwerty keyboard and the application access.

I bought The Sprint Samsung Rant three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The Samsung Rant is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours.I'd really recommend the Samsung Rant phone if you're on a budget
