The SPH-I300 Series handset from Samsung brings together the benefits of both a PDA (personal digital assistant) and a wireless phone. No longer is it necessary to carry two digital devices - now you can place a call directly from your PDA/phone. The SPH-I300 also lets you wirelessly connect to the Internet and check email. Minimize your gadgets, and maximize your productivity. This compact wireless intelligent terminal, known as the SPH-I300 phone, has a large screen just like a PDA.The SPH-I300 has a 256-color display and a small top viewer for calling information such as caller ID, time and roaming and power indicator. It has easy text input providing writing recognition while a speakerphone provides hands free conversation. The PDA element of the SPH-I300 features an address book, scheduler, to-do list, memo pad, calculator, clock and PC synchronization to allow Palm applications to be downloaded into the SPH-I300. It is completely compatible with Palm OS-based application software. The SPH-I300 also includes infrared communication.
