Samsung SGH i617 BlackJack II (AT&T)

What I love about this phone is that it really is a smart phone, I don't worry if I am not at home, office or not carrying a laptop when when I am out and about; this phone allows me to answer my email, organize my calendar and down load attachment to view from emails. I simply just love this phone. It lets me email and text so easily and fast...not like with my other phone in which I had to change from text to number... that way takes too long sometimes. This is a GREAT phone to own! I am so glad decide to purchase it!!!!

I am a new customer to my current cell service, so when I was told I could swap out SIM's and use another carrier's phone I was delighted. I purchased the Blackjack II and was overwhelmed at first. I have never had a smartphone; therefore, I really didn't know where to start. I had to call my cell service twice to "reprogram" as to be able to send and receive picture messages. I also will have to pay extra to have the internet as the phone is not originally one of theirs. I imagine that once I do take advantage of this I will be amazed. However, after all is said and done, I love this phone. I have not fully figured it out yet and imagine it will be a while before I do as there are so many things on it. I is quite difficult trying to get used to the many functions when I barely even had a camera on my previous phone. After all is said and done....I love this phone!

this is the most enjoyable phone I've ever had and I received it looking like new , I am so satisfied with most of my purchases, I love ebay. there is nothing I dislike about it, ebay saves me money so I can buy more

My daughter loves this phone. Easy to use and especially easy for texting, which it seems like that's mostly what she uses it for.

It's probably unfair to rate any phone after you've had a iphone for any length of time, but here it goes. My blackjack II is the worst phone I've ever had. I lost my iphone and needed a dependable phone until my upgrade date was available. I thought that the Blackjack II would be a phone that would last at least a couple months, I was very wrong. As soon as I started to use my phone it has been nothing but problems. I'm on day three of my phone and already the phone won't hold a charge. Here's a good piece of advice, save your money and buy an ipone.

Very Good Item, Although the Backlight stays lit-and thus causes the battery to drain quicker. Other than that, phone works well and is in decent condition.

it was good... but there are some scratches on the screen, but overall it's in very good condition. The accessories were wonderful! the multiple chargers are quite useful.

The phone was in excellent condition, like brand new!!!! I love the bigger screen, and the updated jog wheel. I also like the new graphics(Samsung takes beautiful, clear picture and videos)and tones in the blackjack 2. My favorite thing about this phone though is the color, it's red!!

This is a great phone. Most of the reviews don't give it its deserved praise. I've been a smartphone/Windows mobile customer for years (2 HP Ipaqs, LG Incite, Audiovox 2125, Cingular 8125, and the Blackjack II) and I must say that the Blackjack II has been the most stable. I would give it a 5 out of 5 but Windows operating systems are just too unstable.

The camera works fine. Its a phone so to compare the quality to a real camera is silly. Not sure why anyone would allow the camera quality of a phone to be a deal breaker. Bluetooth connected easily to my car, connecting to the internet was flawless. I probably sent more emails with my phone then texts. I purchased applications over the internet and had no problems. Third party applications installed easily and always worked.

Texting is easy, sending MMS messages is easy and the compact size makes it very portable. I've dropped this phone several times and never had any problems with it. I did drop it in a puddle of water once and ruined it but that was my fault not the phones.

In conclusion, I loved it. If you are use to touchscreens PDA's you may not like the non-touch screen functionality but if thats not a problem, you will love this phone.
