Samsung SGH T629 (T-Mobile)

I wanted a phone that was small and wouldn't accidently dial numbers. I really don't like the flip-phones and wanted something that had more functions than just a basic phone. I absolutely love the slider feature of this phone! It hides the dial pad but is still functional without ever having to slide it open. It has an automatic key lock feature that will prevent any buttons from accidently being pushed as well.

Some of the main features of this phone that sold me were its capability to play .mp3s, its ability to take decent pictures, and the overall design of the phone. The music can be played with or without earbuds as the speakerphone is loud enough to hear in a quiet environment. You can slip in a memory card that houses all your favorite music and pictures. Another feature I really like is the capability to set each contact with its own ringtone and picture. It's so easy to customize your contacts and make your phone specifically designed for you.

The battery life is pretty good as long as you don't play music or games all the time, which is pretty typical for most phones. The screen size is large enough to view everything with ease and the backlight is bright enough to see it outside. The buttons are easy to push and the phone feels like it has a solid build without being heavy or cumbersome.

I've had this phone for almost a year and I don't plan on giving it up!
