Samsung SGH T439 (T-Mobile)

This was a BROKEN, USED phone. The moron who is selling this, tries to pass it off as a BRAND NEW phone. When I get the phone, it turns on for all of 5 mintues before it dies, and it unchargeable. In the short time the phone is on, I find a whole bunch of pictures ALREADY taken on the phone. Now, I send the phone back and this SHADY person is now ignoring me. DON'T BUY FROM THIS PERSON, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU JUNK.

I NEEDED THIS PHONE AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE UNIT I HAD LOST .. I LOVE IT BECAUSE IT'S LIGHT IN WEIGHT AND VERY VERSATILE.. HAS BLUETOOTH CAPABILITY AS WELL AS A GREAT CAMERA ON THE UNIT.. SAMSUNG HIT IT OUT THE PARK WITH THIS ONE.. ONE OF T-MOBILE BEST KEPT SECRETS IF YOU ASK ME ....

It's a pretty good phone, good pic quality. I just don't like that I can't close it while sending a message as I have been able to do with past phones. Overall, good fun phone, though it IS a fingerprint magnet hehe.

Good phone, has everything and does not cost a bundle. Only bad side is that its a finger print magnet.

I love the phone! I love the camera and speakerphone. Also Downloadable ring tones. I had no problems with the ear piece volume or the speaker phone whatsoever. The phone is a thumbs up for me.

Very good deal and phone condition. but the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long and the memory has problems with photos.

Nice little phone.Love the music player.Has an micro sd card slot for storing more songs or pictures on.YAnd you WILL want to buy a micro memory card,IF you want ALOT more music on your phone,as i did.I have over 100 FULL songs on my phone,thanks to the use of a micro mini sd card.Battery lasts ok.And so far,i have been able to call from ANYWHERE,without losing signal.Don't like the outside finish,much,it attracts fingerprints.But overall,this IS a really nice phone,so nice,that i got a 2nd one,exactly the sameThis phone can't do EVERYTHING,but what phone does?So ALWAYS check out the phone BEFORE you buy it.

REVIEW UPDATE:I have NOW boughten a 3rd Samsung SGH T439 phone,this is how much i love THIS Phone!It can't do EVERYTHING,but it does ENOUGH for me.But always check it out before you buy ANY phone.

I really like this phone, it works great, it is small, but has a large memory. I like that you can text very easily, and the fact that it is so small and just fits anywhere just makes it even better. I also like the fact that it has a very large screen and everything is very visible and looks great, and I just love it.

i got the phone for my mom and she just loves it.i bought it for her because the screen was a bit larger than her old one,and she's really getting the hang of it..thanks again

I love the phone because I have had one in the past. But I ordered this one to replace my old one. It was advertised as brand new, not opened, but I received a used phone with no box.

This phone was in perfect shape and was working right our of the box. It was a plug and play purchase.

locked phones by t mobile cingular are locked down with there own software that most functions that the phones have do not work

I loved the product but it had more scratches on the outside casing than I thought. So it works like new but didn't look new.

The phone was nothing as discribed. It was rated 8/10 being excellent condition. I would of not given it no more then a 5. Scratches all over it. Wouldn't be able to tell if you added another scratch it looked so bad.

I bought this phone mainly because of the price. It had everything I needed and was still cheap. But you get what you pay for. I wanted it to have an mp3 player, so I could have a song as a ringtone, but the on-board memory is so small, I could barely fit one song on the phone. And it rings so softly, even when it's at maximum volume, that I just ended up putting it on vibrate. I wanted it to have a camera, but the 1.3 megapixels just isn't enough for me. My old phone had 2.0, plus it had a light you could use. This phone's pictures are too dark and don't capture many of the details. The way the phone flips open, is also at a bad angle, making it difficult, for me at least, to have the earpiece near my ear and the speaker near my mouth. I can either talk, or listen, because the angle of the phone when it's open is too small. The alarm feature does not allow you to set it to vibrate. This is annoying when you just want a reminder alarm. The menu items are not customizable, you cannot set your own shortcuts. The extremely small display on the front of the phone disappears too quickly for it to be useful.

In short, it's a decent phone. It does what it has to, and nothing more. Only useful as a stopgap phone.

Great inexpensive phone. Down side is it is now offered as a free with new contract phone I paid full price.
Battery last as long as most samsung phones 2-3 days. looks are deffenantly at the top of the list.

This is the best phone we've had by far! It's natural and easy to use! A wonderful phone with all of its features!

MP3 capable,can connect speakers via bluetooth, its versatility with camera and video are awesome. Voice recorder, emailer, and voice dialing are to name few.
What i liked the most was synchronization with your t-mobile account, you sync all your contacts and you never lose them if you lose ur sim or phone, and if u buy new phone just sync your phone and all numbers are there.No hassle of putting all 45 numbers one-by-one.whew!!!

But every good thing has a side effect.

1- for this its text is like old fashioned, older types nokia phone text. no very catchy.
2- not too much memory, which finally urges you to buy SD memory card.

over all i would say this thing is worth buying and you money won be a waste.

Its a very good phone. It has all the things most people look for: bluetooth, speaker phone, camera/video record, mp3 player, it plays mp4 and 3gp format videos, micro sd slot. It has a lot of other good features as well that you wouldnt expect to be there, but overall its a good phone.

I broke my old phone and the cell phone provider doesn't manufacture it anymore, so I decided to try to find a used one on Ebay.
