Samsung SGH T409 (T-Mobile)

The phone works Great on a wi-fi network,plus you get Unlimited Calling Anytime!!!I don't have any towers near my house so without wi-fi i can't use it..If your having trouble connecting to wi-fi,be sure to fill out your E911 address on t-mobile.com..

bought the NSamsung SGH T409 (T-Mobile) three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I purchased this phone so i can have an extra in case something happened to my other phone and the price. The actual phone wasn't that good. It didn't have a MP3 player on it as T-mobile advertised and there also was no memory card slot as well. The wifi worked pretty good but its useless if you cant download music or videos due to the lack of a memory card slot. It lacked all of the features that make Samsung a good brand to buy. If you just want a regular phone I would recommend this but if you like to do more than just talk and text, this isn't a good phone to have.

I like the features of the phone and how well it has held up, considering I got it used and the person who had it before me had an accident and their dog got ahold of it. Still works well!

It has better reception than the Nokia and its a nice looking phone. The only problem was not being able to download a ringtone for messages, but otherwise an all around good phone.

This is an excellent phone for calls over wi-fi with T-Mobile's Hotspot @ Home add on feature.Seemless transition from wi-fi to gprs.Great sound quality and signal strength.Compact and lightweight with full color inernal and external displays.Only feature it lacks that I would like to see is a memory card slot. But, with unlimited nationwide calling for $9.99/month, I can live without the memory card slot.*****.

The phone is pretty good. Has hot-spot at home which works good but only with a T-Mobile router. Almost NEVER connects to a non-T-Mobile router.

Although the hotspot@home isn't as cool as the service by Verizon or Sprint which has better coverage than T-Mobile in general and better phones in my opinion. Verizon and Sprint have a router you can get that extends the normal cellphone signal into your house in case you live in an area with bad reception like me.

This phone comes with built in extras you usually only find in a high end unit. The sound quality is great, very easy to use, and good battery life.

I bought this phone because it was the only affordable my faves, hotspot phone and my contact to buy a new one was still 6 months away. This is definitely an upgrade from what I had before, with similar navigation, intuitive features, and a cute interface. Good connection to wifi hotspot and reception and a camera from which you can actually see the pictures.

very happy with product.I was impressed with the fact it was brand new. My son loves the phone and the fact he didnt up his contract.

This phone works well. Options are good. Good sound quality & reception. Solid phone---phone has thicker plastic than others now on market. Easy to fit in your pocket or purse. Reliable phone for My Faves and T-Mobile service.

The wifi calling is really clear. The phone switches over quickly and very well. The other functions of the phone are very basic. I wish it had a micro sd card slot. There really isn't an easy way to move pictures and music files.

The phone is ok. Some times the mic dont work and need to restart the phone.Overall good for wifi.THe phone is light and also have a sound problem and sometimes the phone volume dont work and need to go to volume and need to also go to volume five and then it works again. the volume five dont change but still it gives the problem. camera not very good, just like same camera of a low priced phone.

I purchased this phone to save money by using the wi-fi feature. After setting it up, the phone did not
preform as well as expected. It would switch from my home wireless network back to t-mobile in the middle of a call and then drop it. At work it was even worse. It connected to the wireless network but
the strength was to low to get a good signal. I spoke with T-mobile and they were aware of the issues.
I think this is a good idea that's a little ahead of it's time.
