Samsung SGH E715 (T-Mobile)

the cell phone samsung SGH-E715 its a very good and elegance cell phone, this have a design very elegance, this dont have a exterior antenna, this is great inside a pocket, this a a very good color not a silver, because this have acratches vaery fast, the software of this phone a very easy to use, but i prefer make a change of sotfware of thie phone to the samsung E-710 this have a video recorder and have a little diferences, i love the lcd exterior, you could teke pictures whitouth open the phone, the most important accesories the phone have is the light, you could use when you car is stop and you dont have a light to see in the night, and when in your home in many things....

the problem whit this phone are the difficult to fond pieces and accesories, another problem are the mp3 rigntone sound very horrible......

I already own a samsung E715, I purhcased this one for my wife. The phone has proved reliable and extremly easy to use. The phone all the features you could want, camera, LCD display and nice compact size. I wish samsung would continue producing the E715.

I have had this phone ever since it came out (about 3 years) and I have never changed it. It's a very durable phone with excellent sound quality and reception. The E715's camera resolution is outstanding and it has a flash feature so pictures can be taken in the dark. It even has a cool flashlight feature that came in handy countless times. The only reason I did not rate this phone a 5/5 is because it’s missing certain key features such as bluetooth, speakerphone, and MP3 player. Other than that it’s an excellent phone. Definitely recommended!

This phone was great for the first 6 months, then the LCD screen on the inside started lightening up, and progressed to white in a matter of months. I've spoken to T-Mobile about it and they say that this phone is notorious for that. If you read sellers description and they say the LCD is a little light or bright, steer clear, unless you are just buying it for its parts. If it is new, just know that it is known for this problem. It is very difficult to make a call when you can't see what numbers you are calling, and you can't see your menu for other functions. Hope this helped. Buyer beware!

I really love the asetic features of this phone-lights-rings-camera-action!!!! Although the battery life can be used up quickly if you really need to talk lots and lots or take pics/videos (i just happen to have both types of chargers)so it's not a problem--even with that i charge every other day . i dont think there is any "pirfek" phone but this one suits my needs (depends on the features you like) and is user friendly. you could operate it with out instructions but it may take a little longer to learn the finer tuning (shortcuts) of operations but you will still be able to have some fun. i also like that the earphone and charge inlets have plugs that are attached enjoy the journey

I used this model phone for over two years, having one for a year, then switching to a pocket pc, and going back to the Samsung Model. This is an excellent phone suited with impressive picture clarity, easy operation, and fun extras and add-on type of capabilities. Definitely my favorite T-Mobile model.

I dislike about this phone........
camera button on the outside/side of phone, and easy to push. I have hundreds of pictures of the inside of my pocket, purse, and unknown????
I also question the durability of this phone, I am currently looking for replacement number 3 (t-mobile says my warranty is suddenly up), the screen goes jumbled or white blank (yes,im careful with my phone).

I do like about this phone.......The reason i still have this phone!!
The front display is always lighted up with the time, it may drain the battery a bit, but, this makes it easy to glance at the time and I can always find my phone fast in a dark place (my purse, etc.). The built in camera flash/flash light feature has come in handy a time or two.

This phone is very nice. I liked the fact that it was easy to use, had a sleek design, very durable, and very light. Although there was somethings I didn't like especially that the screen was faded and very bright. It is said that this phone's screen some gets faded. But overall was very good.

I bought the Phone e715 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a camera,camera, and . The Phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

So far so good, after a months use of the phone, no issues so im very pleased....Really got my moneys worth, and that was nice, was fast delevry. Ive alreay recomended your company to other people looking for cell phones who dont want to pay full contract price for phones through their carriers. I know we go threw phones alot and you guys will be the ones we buy through agian, beats payng 100 or more for a cell phone. Even after you put insurance on a cellphone with a regular carrier you still have to pay half the phone on top of the monthly fee of insurance a month, this phone was only 22! Way better deal!

my husband works a all weather job as a pipe fitter .and is very hard on his phones .this phone has stood through the harshest of times and weather.it even has been rolled over by his machinery at work and even though cosmetically it was tore up .machanically worked great .i have a new phone 2008 model and i am austounded when i am out of signal his has a signal. i tell you they dont make phones like this any more.thank god for ebay.i was able to find him the same phone for his b-day.he was so happy.

I needed a new phone and one that wasn't going to cost me a lot of money. I'm very glad to have found on that was a good phone and didn't cost very much. I'm glad it has a camera. It is a used phone, so it has a little wear and tear, but that's to be expected.

Lots of high tech features: camera, hands free ear piece included, mp3 and wifi capable. However, there is no built in speakerphone. Design is modern w/analog clock of front cover, and compact sized for your hand. Over all good phone.

I like this model because of the many features included. The E715 is showing some aging, because it does not have Bluetooth or speakerphone. I don't use speakerphone much anyway...such as the "Walkie-Talkie" TDMA models you see, being used to irritate other people in public places.

This model is small and has built-in antenna, nice color screen, exterior display, Infrared port, built-in modem, good battery life, VGA camera (not 1+ megapixels),T-Zones/Mobile Web, and excellent menu system. Plus, it is a very durable little phone! Most Samsung products are well above the average...and this one certainly attains that rating.

The phone serves its purpose and does almost everything a phone should do.

Cons:

My problems with the phone are many, so let me tell what to look out for. I've had to get five or six replacements in 2.5 years because its not durable at all. You can barely tell what is going on in most of the pictures I've taken because their such low resolution. The phone has a function to take pictures when the phone is closed which is pointless unless you enjoy taking pictures of yourself. The phone is always taking pictures in my pocket and I have to delete twenty or thirty black pics out of my album because it takes pics when the phones closed. The screen on the phone fades after a couple of months and develops lines or breaks that make anything on the screen look really dull. Pictures especially. The software and hardware required to transfer pictures to a computer so you can actually do something with them is 80$. Considerable expense when you already pay more than the phone is worth. You can't listen to ringtones before downloading. You can't send out group text messages. You can't turn off the "shudder" sound effect when taking pictures. Sometimes I like to take pictures of people with sweet mullets or something else remarkable about them and I can't do it inconspiculously with the shudder sound on.

Pros:
The camera flash can come in handy when you need a light for anything. Working on the car at night for example.

The overall phone is pretty easy to use and the functionality is pretty excellent.

You can set three alarms on the phone which is good if you're a snooze button hitter

There is a soothing blue message light on the outside of the phone I've really come to like.

The phone has the best battery I've ever had on a phone. I have had the same battery through all the phones I've had and it continues to perform like a champ after all this time.

It has a pretty cool design and is a good size.

Conclusion:

DO NOT buy for the camera. Technology is obsolete. At the time of the original purchase, it was quite overpriced. Might be a good pickup for a backup phone if you can find it for cheap.

Love it,easy to use,nice and large display,vivid colors,ruged,compact,exellent sound,after owning one for 3 years,bought a second phone and up to this date I am very happy with it.Highly recomended.I feel the camera feature is the greatest,but again this is a phone not a camera.No blue tooth capabilities,but the headset does the jod for me,does not have speakerphone feature but I do not like my conversation to be heard in public.
