The phone has a very short battery life. I've had the phone less than 2 weeks and it has gone completely dead 3 times. It goes from fully charged down to 2 bars on the battery in 4 hours without using. It goes completely dead in 36 hours without using. The really bad part is that none of the AT&T stores even sell accessories for it. I've been to 4 different stores and no one has a car charger that fits it. I was able to find one USB cable and it will charge from your computers USB. What's even worse is that Samsung's Customer Service department is totally incompetent. They had no one that could help me set this phone up to work through the USB cable on my computer. They wanted me to pay for their Software after paying $220.00 for the phone (shouldn't there have been a CD with all the softawre with the phone?). I was able to find the PC Studio 3 software for free at a shareware web site and after 4 hours of trial and error I figured it out for myself. The owners manual is totally useless. The owners manual says all you have to have to upload/download data to and from your PC is Windows Media Player 10. Windows Media Player doesn't even recognize this phone as a hardware/storage device. Someone really dropped the ball on this one. I plan to take it back and get a FULL refund. Go to Samsungs home page and type SGH-A747 into their search engine and it tells you it doesn't exist.

Easy to use, but packed with features. Takes great pictures (2.0 MP) Very light and slim. Great battery life. Has SMS card and accepts a 4GB mem,ory card to save tons of photos. Easy keyboard for texting.

Why would someone buy a cell phone then turn around and sell it. I see listings like: slightly used?, don't need anymore, my job provided one. If you purchase a cell phone from a cell phone provider or on Ebay most will provide at least a 10 day return policy. My experiance in buying used cell phones is not good. I find poor reception, or dropped calls or other intermittent problems. My recommendation is buy new, sealed or refurbished.

The item was in much better condition than expected. It came with both a car charger and wall charger which was of great value. A carrying case was also received and well appreciated. The phone was a replacement for my wife and she considers it to be new.

Samsung SGH-A747 Blue (AT&T)I purchased this phone to replace one just like it that was stolen from me. I like a simple phone -- I'm one of those probably rare people these days who believes that a phone is for making and receiving calls, and not for doing all kinds of fancy stuff. This phone fills the bill very well, as far as I'm concerned. I particularly like it's long life for each battery charge.

I am a huge strickler when it comes to a phone.. after i got this phone and read the reviews on it i was sold..
I WAS A lil skeptical at first..But that quickly diminished soon as i started tinkering with the phone

(psst.)this phone has and amazing camera(its 2 megapixels(most than any phone has) and the battery will not go dead on you until at least 4 days(2 1/2 if you talk and text alot)

SGH A747I LOVE this phone!!!! I have had one for 19 months and the battery went bad. Instead of just getting a new battery I was THRILLED to see a complete new phone and bought one. I do not need a fancy IPHONE. This phone does everything I need. Menu is simple, always works,excellent talk and ring volume... I could go on and on! Oh and did I mention I have dropped it to many times to count and even once in the dog's waterbowl and it still works perfectly!! Many dings caused by me but it is VERY forgiving!!! LOVE this phone!!!

This was bought as a replacement for the SGH A737.
I had a hard time programming, NO INSTRUCTION BOOK, was included. The phone, doesn't always ring when a call comes in, and it's too easy to press a wrong key, and access the Internet.
Ringtone options are very poor, couldn't download songs...no booklet.
I AM HAPPY MY OLD (A737) STARTED TO WORK AGAIN...
THIS PHONE WILL ONLY BE USED FOR A BACK-UP IF THE OLDER PHONE STOPS WORKING.

bought used, expected a great phone, the slim size, light weigth and beautiful shape are all desirable. the features are great, but the camera production is poor, the camera is either stuck stiff or scrolling too loosely. other samsung i have also has camera with poor picture production. i had expected an improvement in this more upscale phone.
