Samsung A717 compared to my current A707

I currently own the A707, the SYNC. I think perhaps I've gotten used to the A707, but there are a few things I like and don't like about the 'new' A717.
First off, I like the idea of having the OLED outside screen, it uses less energy than the screen of the A707, but, even with the display settings to have the screen always on, I still have to hold and push the volume button for the screen to show the time (although I do admit I haven't read too thoroughly into the manual on this).
I do like how thin the A717 is, it is quite a bit thinner than my A707, but the way the flip part sets into the lower portion of the phone makes it difficult to open with one hand or even using my chin like I can with my A707.
My A707 can play music in stereo using the built-in speakers, whereas I believe the A717 only plays in mono; it appears to only have one speaker in the ear area. This is a minor quibble. I believe it does play in stereo using an A2DP stereo blue-tooth or the stereo headset.
Perhaps the biggest thing I don't like about the A717 is that the buttons on the keypad lack feedback. I think this is due to the nature of a one-piece metal keypad similar to that found on some Motorola phones like the RAZR, but compared to my A707 which has separate buttons, the A717 requires more focus to text or input on the keypad. The separate buttons of my A707 give a much better feedback and 'click' and since the buttons are separated, I can easily navigate the keypad without looking. Perhaps the buttons on the A717 just need to be broken in.
I haven't explored the phone much more other than the above. The voice quality seems to be better on the A717, and my reception is more stable on the A717. Other than that, I feel that when I get used to the A717 it will be a fine phone.
