Samsung SGH A437 (AT&T)

I needed to replace a cell phone for my 15 year-old son. Of course AT&T was more than willing to give me a deal if I extended my contract or sell me a new one for $150 or more. I found an "unlocked" phone on eBay for less only $60 dollars and it works like new. The seller was prompt, and we had our replacement within a few days.

What a great find!

This is a very professional looking and functioning phone. It is slim, has the airline feature, great camera functions, very readable screen, and for the price it is a really great phone.

I did not rate it as Excellent only because this is the first Samsung phone, of the twelve models that my family and I have owned, that has what I would call short battery life.

At first I thought I might have gotten a bad battery so I bought a brand new OEM battery and it does the same thing. I have to recharge every other day and if my kids get in a mood to text dad just a little too often I need to charge every night. As a family we've had probably more than 30 Samsumg phones within the 12 models mentioned above and we've never had one that sucked this much juice.

This is not a phone for a texting machine kid. This is a great phone for an adult who will notice that the battery is low and will charge it accordingly. All in all I am using this as my every day phone and I'm very happy with it.

If you want to stay with a flip phone that is full of features but not quite a PDA this is the best phone for the price.

I bought this phone prior to my trip to Japan. Upon arrival, I checked this phone with a functional foreign SIM card and it did not work. I immediately informed the seller of my concern and also PayPal. The seller's response was irresponsible and inappropriate. He considered my request as a 'nonsense claim' and escaleted the request through PayPal. Paypal decided in my favor and refunded the fund except for the rerturn shipping cost which I paid. Not a very good experience with this seller.

I bought this product to replace a cellphone that was no longer working. This is a step down from what I had, but I just wanted to fill the rest of my time on my contract. I like the fact that this is a smaller phone, very easy to handle, performs great. Excellent price for a replacement phone.

The keypad is clear and big enough that you don't hit 2 keys at one time. It is user friendly and beautiful. I had one before just like it and so I bought another one as a present to a friend.

This is only the latest in a long line of this model of cell phone. The only problem I have is I keep losing them or dropping them into water. I keep replacing it, what can I say.

Would I buy again? I will and I probably should buy them by the dozen.

this is the most horrible phone I have ever seen! The back where the battery sits doesn't stay in. If you slightly hit it the back will come off and the battery will come out! also the phone has a constant static sound when talking on it...I don't recommend this phone OR this seller!

Love the clam shell, red, easy switch of SIM card, small size, PC interface, ease of use, photog. This is my second, #1 went thru the wash. Negative - it didn't float thru the wash.

I bought this phone recently to replace the exact same model I lost and I love it. It's compact, sound is good, has camera and easy to use buttons, plus the screen is not too small. It's not a super high-tech phone but has all the basics and then some and is perfect for your everyday phone.

Got this phone for my husband who is technically challenged when it comes to cell phones. He is very pleased with the ease of finding the address book and finding missed calls. The key pads are a perfect size for him and the flip cover is especially important to keep everything protected. Now, if this phone lasts more than 6 months, we will definitely be impressed!

I like this phone because the numbers are bigger and easy to read,easy to figure out phone operation and it looks nice. It may not be a fancy phone but it does the job that I want it to do. Inexpensive, so if something happens to it, your not out alot of money.

My wife dropped her cell phone (same mfr. and model) and the outside screen could not be read. After some checking, I found that by moving the chip from her old one to a new one her existing cellular service would be transferred along with her contacts, etc. So I purchased this phone, moved the chip and now she has the same kind of phone, same cellular service, and she is pleased.

Small, light and basic phone, not the strongest in pulling in signals ie. dropped calls. a little slippery because of smooth and sleek finish. Otherwise a good basic phone.

I bought several lightly used corporate phones with chargers. They all have performed flawless for several months now except for one. It didn't do too well after being washed and dried.

Good phone all around, durable, dependable and slim. One of the best that at&t has to offer. Worth the money

just what i needed the samsung phone works great small and compact it fits right in my pocket.

the phone book has plenty of storage space. I use the camera to take pic of the kids so they are always with me. bottom line the phone is great.
