If you want a very dependable and basic prepaid cell phone at a low price, this is one of the best choices you could make. If you do not live in an urban area or you will need the phone outside of urban areas, Verizon has the most extensive coverage in most parts of the USA. If you never leave urban areas, I think Virgin Mobile offers competitive choices.

Great as a phone, holds battery well. Good reception, good looking, nice and small. The only problem I have with it is that it does not have the Get It Now feature. Other than that great product.

I got this phone for my daughter because she drop her old phone in a puddle. We've had good luck with Samsung, and so far the phone seems to be working fine. I've heard no complaints from my daughter.

Battery poor. Doesn't get me thru the day. Also, it gets hot, which is where some of the battery charge goes. Otherwise, a decent phone.

This is a very basic and simple phone of which I was looking for. Price was reasonable. Verizon activated phone on my existing contract with no problem.

Phone is sleek, very simple and functionable. I don't like the choice of songs nor the fact that the camera button is always being bumped and taking pictures in my bag. I also wish the outside view lit up when I pushed a side button. These are minor annoyances that I quickly got over. I love my phone! But I will definitely be getting a newer version soon.

Got this phone through an online deal with Verizon and well.. you get what you pay for.
The battery doesn't last long, signal is constantly being lost even with full bars. I can't really hear well, the speaker/volume level is crap. It doesn't have any useful features whatsoever and is just crap. The only kudos I give it are that it got wet twice and still works... otherwise don't get this cell unless you're desperate. It's not worth a penny, and I got mine for free :/

Small, not too small. Brand new. Verizon had no trouble at all activating it into our calling circle. Very nice phone, clear, has all bells and whistles, and most of all the price was outstanding. Verizons wanted over 100 dollars for a baseline phone, this one was half. If you son keeps washing his phone, 150 dollars a pop, this is your answer. We went through 3 razor phones! Even if you just buy to have as an extra, it is a great phone.

Phone was in great shape and price was excellent. Most Cricket offices and phone support were clueless on how to set up, but a Cricket corporate store was able to get it going. Works great and our daughter is very pleased. The effort is worth the phone quality and great price!

The Samsung SCH U340 phone is a good basic reliable phone. It is simple and easy to use, and has good reception. It is lightweight, and has a decent battery life. The camera is okay too. Just a good basic inexpensive phone.

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE BECAUSE I WASHED MY CHOCOLATE. THIS ONE IS TO BE A BACKUP FOR WHEN I GOOF UP WITH MY NEXT PHONE. IT DOES WHAT I WANTED IT TO DO- JUST THE BASICS-SPEAKER, VOICEMAIL, TEXT, AND CAMERA. IT MIGHT DO MORE, BUT I DON'T. SO I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

I decide to get this phone because I thought is was an upgrade from my currant phone. I was mistaken. I am going back to my other phone. My problems with the phone are, no bluetooth, the battery doesn't hold a charge, it dies very quickly, it takes awhile for it to response to commands, whether it is texting or just placing a call. I just don't have the patience to deal with this phone anymore.

I've owned this phone for about four months. I really love it. It is sleek, lightweight, and easy to operate. My only complaint would be there is no locking button on the keypad. You have to go in through the menu and enter a code and then you can only choose to lock it one time... rather than always locked between calls. Overall this is a great affordable phone.

I bought this phone not realizing that i paid too much for it, It had fast shipping but the battery was not working right so I brought it too the verizon store and they told me it had a cheap battery and that it would cost $40 to buy a new one. I had bought the phone for $95 including shipping. I emailed the seller and he told me that i can goto some website and get one for $12, but I figured that would probbly be another cheap one and i needed the phone working ASAP. After i bought the battery I turned the phone on, (which took 45min. because there was something unusual about the phone) and now the phone gets REALLY bad reception!

I liked the idea that it didnt have all the extra items on it makes it easier to use for what I wanted it for

What I dislike about the product is it never stated it was a pre pay phone. Verizon did not rcognize the phone and would not activate.
