Samsung SCH I760 (Unlocked)

Not impressed at all with this smart phone. The touch screen does not function well, it is cumbersome to get to texting mode, the e-mail set up is not very user friendly. I thought this would be much nicer, oh well. It works and I will make do for now.

The phone is very good. I had it for few days, but something was wrong with it so i had to return it to the seller, but i will buy a another one, most liley new. Its a durable and easy to use pocket pc phone.

Verizon requires a data plan for all smart phones released Nov 2008 and after. I need a smart phone that I can sync by USB cable and carry with me. I don't need wireless sync or real time email.

I replaced a XV 6700 with this Samsung i760. It's a year newer, much less bulky and the display is very bright. I think it will work well for the next year or two and it doesn't require a $30 per month cost.

The only downside is that I don't think I'll be able to hack it to install Windows Mobile 6.5 whereas HTC phones have an active hacking community.
