Samsung SCH A870 (Verizon Wireless)

I really love my new Samsung A870 phone. My husband ordered the razor and doesn't like it so he's exchanging it for this model. Easy to use. Pictures are good quality. I like that I can assign a picture in contacts and when the person calls, their picture comes up. Wonderful step up from my previous audiovox model.

I own two cell phones identical two the one I purchased. They are great phones rugged and versatile. How many times have you said I wish I had a camera? I have used it like a spy or tip to remember things from appointments and meetings.
I purchased it mainly for the charger. We were down to one charger, for the car only. I thought it would be nice to have a spare battery. Last year I had to replace my son’s phone because of abuse. I now have one I can add to the plan when needed.

We like the picture taking capability and the value price. We bought it because my daughter dropped her other one in the water when she fell out of her canoe!

I really like my phone cause its small and just what I needed. I love the camera and speaker phone on it. I really don't like the idea of it not having an antenna, but it works just fine anyway. Some reception issues there, but not too bad.The seller was super fast with the shipping and the communication. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I could go to them again for another phone. Ordered a Samsung SCH A870 (Verizon Wireless). Got what I ordered. Got it quickly and it works just fine. Good to do business with. I guess you have to write a story to praise or bash vendors now. I thought A+ would have done, now everyone has to know my life's story. Geees!

This phone is easy to use, loaded with features, and fits well in the palm of your hand. Nice sturdy feel. The camera even has a flash!!!! Nice!

I like the small size of the phone. The phone has great service and has all the features I need. The colors on the phone are very clear. Buttons are a perfect size to be able to text and not hit keys next to each other.

We like the design and fuctions it has. For instance it has the navagation system. We purchased them to replace our old phones.

I hope I will be happy with what I bought, But I was not happy to find out what I bought seller is in hongkong! The country the item is in is not that noticable at first glance if your in a hurry before the auction ends. I will take me a long time to get it :( The auctions need somthing better to let us know wher the item is so we can see that at first glance, Somthing that sticks out! or how about a search by country?

The Samsung SCH A870 is a good 'starter' phone for folks that want all the bells and whistles. The built in camera takes decent low-level pictures best used for computer use. Once initiated, it is quite easy to take too many unintentional pictures, but also easy enough to delete them. Being able to upload/download the pictures to/from your computer (via the phone itself) is quite useful.... Particularly to customize the two viewing screens of the phone.
There are many 'ringtones' available as standard, but way to many of them sound pretty much the same. Would have been nice to have a number of individually unique sounds.
The phone allows you to record.....but there is no ability (that I have found) to use these recordings as ringtones.

All in all a well built phone with all the gadgets, but all the gadgets just happen to be basic.

I BOUGHT THE PHONE BECAUSE I NEED A PHONE. I CHECK OUT PHONE WITH VERIZON THEY SAID IT WAS A GOOD PHONE. WHEN I RECIEVED THE PHONE IT WAS NOT THE RIGHT ONE AND TO SEND IT BACK. THE SECOND PHONE HAD THE WRONG BATTERY IN IT HAD TO BY ANOTHER BATTERY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES FOR THE PHONE WITH EXTRA SHIPPING AND BATTERY WAS 30 DOLLARS. NOW THE PRODUCT WORKS GREAT BUT BEWARE.

I had one of these phones and my daughter ruined it with a Gatorade in her dance bag. I love the phone, its ease of use and its size! She won't be borrowing this one.

I had a Motorola Q and I did not use any of the great features, so I decided I needed a simple phone, with great sound. After researching what were the best phones for my needs the SCH A 870 was the best fit. Verizon would not give me a new phone, as this was my second line and they claimed I have an other year before I was eligible, I turned to EBay.
The first phone I purchased though the guy had 100% positive feed back was a disaster. I never got the phone. After some nice lying, lucky for me Pay Pal came to the rescue and got me a full refund.Finally I found it from another seller. The phone arrived quickly and is PERFECT.
I love it and it suits my needs perfectly.
It is a great phone with great sound quality. It is compact and reliable and I even have the old telephone sound for a ringer. Just love it.

I really like phone, but I can't activated in my company. So I want to return it and get my money back.
