Just for $69.98 (incl. USPS shipping) you can have this baby delivered to your door. Great deal I should say. Here is what Samsung says about it.

You’re a small business with a small budget, but you need a printer that delivers on a large scale. The SAMSUNG ML-2510 is a monochrome laser printer that fits the bill - and fits virtually any space. The most compact printer on the market, it’s especially easy to install: all it takes is just four clicks. And its jam-free roller system makes paper jams a thing of the past. All this and more, for a price that’s also surprisingly small.

Key specifications
* Speed (Mono) : Up to 24 ppm in A4 (25 ppm in Letter
* Resolution : Up to 1,200 x 600 dpi effective output
* Emulation : SPL (Samsung Printer Language)
* Input Capacity and Types : 250-sheet Multi Purpose Tray, 1-sheet Manual Tray

Here is some more info
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=printersmultifunction&type=printersmultifunction&subtype=monochromelaserprinters&model_cd=ML-2510/XAA

3 Pack refill you can also find on Ebay for just under $18 incl. shipping.

Happy buying!

  Great and fast printer

I do most of my paper work on a inkjet printer. It works pretty well for few sheets, but my papers now require 150 sheets, and it was a pain waiting for them to print.
I was trying to find a fast laser printer but not expensive, and after a lot of research I decided to give Samsung a try... wow... I am surprised, the printer is much faster than I was expecting.
It does not even take too long to start printing, actually its warm up time is faster than my inkjet's.
I am pretty happy with this printer, and I already checked its toner price - and it's not expensive! :)

*** NEW INFO ***

I read some reviews where people were complaining about the fact this printer consumes too much energy, as an electronic engineer, I decided to test and here is the result:

On the driver setup you have an option to select the SAVE ENERGY mode starting on 5 minutes of idle time, 10 minutes, 15, etc... I set mine to 5 minutes. I put a WATTIMETER to check the printer consumption, and here is what I found out... When printing the printer consumes between 500W and 750W... when the printer is on the first 5 minutes of idle time, it consumes about 5W and every 20 seconds it goes to 500W during 1 second and then go back to 4W. After the 5 minutes past, it keeps consuming 4W forever until you decide to print something.

If you have too many things on the same wire, you may experience blinkings on your lights when the printer goes to 500W.

Great printer for bussiness or college

This printer is a great printer for anyone who needs to print a lot of pages in a short amount of time without needing to replace parts very often. The only part that will at times need to be replaced is the toner cartridge, which needs to be replaced much less often then if you were to buy ink cartridges. This printer is also nice because it's made to have easy access and removal of paper jams. Even so, it doesn't jam up very often. The only downsides to this product is that it doesn't print in color and it might be a bit more expensive then a printer using ink cartridges. Other then that, I'd highly recommend it.

Samsung ML-2500 and Dell Laser printers

Good printer for the price and better then inkjet printer. Refilling toner easy and I did it for $10. Own 2 or these printers. The good point about laser printers is the dry toner powder not going bad as happens in ink jets being 80% water and drying up.
If all you need is black print with good resolution buy one.

The printer is everything I could want. It was easy to set up/install. It makes great copies and prints quickly. Very pleased that it prints envelopes. It is a black and white printer which is just what I needed. The price made it an economical purchase.

  Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer

I just purchased a 2nd one for home. The first one is away at college with my daughter.
These printers are first quality and very fast with a small footprint. We still have an old IBM 4019 laser printer that works well, but it is very slow by comparison and its replacement cartridges cost more than owning one of these. I believe that it is one of the best values and one of lowest in cost/page for printing out those long term papers.

The only disadvantage is that it is not color.

Best low cost printer for making checks

This very compact Samsung ML-2510 which you can get for as little as $50 is great for printing checks if you add a MICR toner cartridge from ChecksNet. Does a better job than other laser printers in my office costing over $1,000 and NEVER has paper jams like many Hp laser printers I've tried.

Good printer but concerns about paper feed
Review created: 05/02/08

2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

I really liked this printer. Fast, great output, inexpensive. But after 1900 or so sheets, the paper feed wouldn't pick up more than 1 sheet at a time. Upon a little internet research, it appears this isn't uncommon. On the positive side, Samsung's customer service seems to be reasonable responsive (like they want to fart around with a product that sold for less than $100 - I'm not letteing them off the hook though!) albeith with a little gentle prodding.

This printer is great, I use it in college to print all my handouts, notes, readings, etc. Only black and white prints which is all that I need and it prints fast! I would recommend it to any college student that is looking for a printer. BTW, cost of toner is kind of expensive so keep that in mind, but very convenient.

So far it has been a great printer. It's fast and response. The quality of the print is top notch even at only 600 dpi. I bought this as a little home office printer to print shipping labels and financial reports. For the price, you can't beat it. The toner carts are a little expensive though given the price of the printer. It's almost like when they give you a free ink jet printer because they know they'll make their investment back in you buying ink cartridges.

  Great Printer but...

This Samsung performs exceptionally well except for one thing. It consumes an extreme amount of current even when it's not being used. I thought that something was wrong with my electrical wiring in the house after my lights started flicking (for about 2 seconds at five minute intervals), until I read another review on Amazon from someone (Patrick J.) who experienced the same thing. Then I immediately knew that it was the printer. I switched it off and the flickering lights stopped. I'm still in shock that someone else experienced this and am starting to wonder if it should be recalled and pulled off the market. It prints text as well as pictures with great speed and vivid accuracy. The paper feed tray is the most user-friendly one I've ever used. Toner last a good long time considering that I've had it five months and haven't needed to replace it yet with normal to heavy usage at times. The replacement toner is model ml-2010D3. Amazon has them refurbished for around 35.00 which is quite a savings over the original $60-70 new. It's quiet enough as to not wake up the neighbors. As long as you remember to turn it off when not in use and don't care about the power fluctuations in your home, then it's a good deal for the price.

Make absolutely sure that any ebay member selling a new or refurbished Samsung item is an authorized dealer. According to Samsung if they are not, YOU ARE NOT COVERED!!!! NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER!!! It happened to me!!!!!!! Luckaly the seller had a receipt from Staples that he scanned and emailed to me. OHHH and if you buy a new item and the item is defective, Samsung will not replace it with another new item, they'll replace it with a REFURBISHED one, thats their policy.

Was sick and tired of paying through the nose for inkjet cartridges so after some serious digging and price comparisons found the Samsung ML2510. It was easy to set up on a network and works fine with Vista. High speed, excellent quality and while the replacement toner cartridges cost less than twice as much you get ten times the prints.
Space efficient , fast and cost effective.

  Great Printer for the price!

My wife is doing an online school and needed to print out book's and alot of them. Using our all in one Inkjet printer she went thru a black ink cartridge in less than one book, plus it took for ever. So I thought we need a Laser Printer but they are so expensive. Well I found this Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer Brand New on ebay for $62.95 including shipping. After printing two book's we payed for the printer which came with toner from the factory and printed two book's in less than half the time as the Inkjet did and we still have plenty of toner left. So if you have alot of Black and white printing to do, This is definately the way to go. The printer has worked flawlessly so far and I would Highly Recommend this model printer to everyone, you can't beat it for the price, and looking on ebay I found plenty more of them priced reasonably. The Toner cartridges are kind of expensive, but for the amount of pages they print out it is far cheaper than using a typical injet printer, also you can buy Bulk toner and refill the Toner Cartridge yourself for half the price of buying a new one.

This is the second Samsung monochrome laser printer I've owned. The first (older version of this same model) is still running strong. The new version is a bit louder to start, but takes shorter time to warm up and spits out the pages much faster. I liked the older version's paper path better (feed from the top rear rather than the bottom front, but Samsung says new version jams less often - something I've rarely experienced other than when the rubber pickup roller dried out after three years of use - In a 10 minute operation, I flipped it inside out to expose new rubber and it's run flawlessly for the last two years).

I've used after market toner cartridges without problem and the new version supposedly takes the same cartridge. This results in cheap ink cost per page of around $0.01/sheet.

For the money (I paid $70 all-in with overnight Fedex included), this monochrome printer offers outstanding value for a home or small office. And for another $8, I got a 2 year extended warranty (from SquareTrade) on top of the 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Samsung may sell em cheap, but they offer great value for the $. Much better than the junk I've bought from Brother over the years.

Buy it.

  Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer
Review created: 07/07/08
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Nice inexpensive laser printer that works with Mac and PC. It is a little loud when printing, but not a big deal...unless you print a lot. It could become annoying.

I had an issue with the drivers connecting to my macbook. I own two of these printers and when trying set up to print on the second unit (I bought them 6 months apart), the software didn't work with the second unit. It kept telling me the printer was "off-line". I was able to solve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Once I re-instlled, they both work fine.
