I have seen complaints about this LCD. They are wrong! I love this tv. got it for ..$1049 refurbished (who cares) it's awesome!! Try to find that price again! I bought it on Amazon.com with free shipping! I want another but the closest I get is $1400 plus shipping! Should have bought 2!!

I like the resolution and the picture clarity. The TV came with one white dot in the screen. Now I have to contact Samsung for the repair. I bought it as a new (As per Ebay). The main reason I decided to buy this product was the consumer report. During the busy holiday time I did not notice the damage immediately. Don't buy this TV from ebay.

Great LCD TV

I decided to buy this tv after reading reviews of MANY different makes and models, and I have to agree with every one of the good reviews. This tv has a VERY GOOD picture, and is very easy to set up. The tv looks good as soon as it is unpacked and only gets better once it is hooked up and starts to show it's true potential. One thing to know is that it took about 10 minutes for mine to really have a clear picture the first time I turned it on. I don't know if this is normal or not, but it only happened the first time. Since then it is clear as a bell as soon as it comes on, so it may just be from sitting in a warehouse or from software that has to calibrate to the incoming signal.(?) I can honestly sat that so far (one month of ownership) I have absolutely no complaints or regrets about this tv. I would happily recommend this to anyone that I know.

This is a great tv....hands down one of the best for its price and size. I would recommend this TV for anyone that wants a Lcd Hi-def TV. If you continue to wait the price will continue to drop. Also, it is blu-ray compatible, 1080p and USB input capable.

I purchased it through Ebay from blowout_digital for $1325 plus $175 shipping. The TV was 'factory refurbished to as new standards'. The seller was slow to respond to an email about the shipping time frame. I received the TV in a few days and it had already arrived by the time I got a response. The freight company was great. They helped me carry the TV inside, unpacked it, and inspected it for any shipping damage.
When I purchase electronics I like to find 'factory refurbished'...laptops, cameras, cell phone, GPS, etc. The price is usually very good and I like that the product has been individually factory inspected. Most products I've received has been cosmetically flawless, but occasionally there is a small nick or scratch. Acceptable in my opinion for something used.
When I fully unpacked the TV and set it in place I was a little disappointed to its condition. It had several scuffs in the frame, as well as several smaller areas of 'water spots'...probably from some sort of chemical cleaner. This seems to be outside the realm of "refurbished to as new".
The TV itself is great and has performed flawlessly.
